Keeps dropping connection. My connection was fine with my cable company's AWG modem and rarely ever dropped connection. I find myself rebooting a lot to get the devices back online. However it could be due to the fact that we have more devices online during these uneasy times as well as other users with the same ISP all at home online as well..,

I bought this router in July 2020, since December I have been having constant connectivity issues with both bands. I have to power cycle several times a day. Wednesday, Jan 6th 2021, I am not able to connect to 5G at all. I switched to 2.4g but the connection is very spotty. I called netgear and they said I am past the 90 days for any phone support unless I pay $90 and they will assist. They can email me some possible fixes for free. I was very disappointed that it is less than 6 months their product is not performing as it should. They sent the email with possible solutions which is a link to the netgear community for me to research the problem myself. I have updated the firmware based on the research I found myself and that has made the problem worse. I have 2 kids doing online school and both adults work from home. It has created such a frustration for us all. Netgear is not consumer-friendly.

We needed to upgrade our route after having to work from home in August 2020. This one was easily installed and a wonderful upgrade.

I love this router. I bought this one after long search and reading reviews of all others in the mkt. So far this one best value for the price. No issues at all and great wi-fi coverage.

We were looking for a WiFi booster having multiple WiFi dependent items in the house and the store employee recommended this and we have been ever so happy with the results!

The wi-fi on Netgear used in conjunction with the SURFboard modem is much better than AT & T's wi-fi due to AT & T having lousy coverage in my area

Wow, this has ended our connection problems!! We were constantly having problems with our TV and cell phones staying connected. Since we purchased this the connection problem has ended.

I would recommend this Wi-Fi router to anyone. It works phenomenally well in my home and is giving me much better Wi-Fi coverage then the router/modem the cable company provided me.

I really like the web interface with this router but I did not care for the router too much. I have smart plugs, echos, dot, fire tvs, tablets, and phones connected and we were constantly getting dropped. I finally returned it and went with an ASUS. Don't like the ASUS interface much but the router hasn't had any issues.

It was easy set up. Love the speed then it started to shut down on me. For no reason out would just reset. It did this over and over again. I finally contacted net gear support and that did nothing. They are replacing it. Will sees hours the new one works out. So far not happy with netgear

Got this while it was sale for the same price / cheaper then the AC1900. Best router brand I've ever used. So many features and works great streaming 4k content to my TV.

We were having a problem with reception with our rented provider’s router. After great service from our Best Buy associate, we purchased this. No more reception problems.

This has been the best router I have purchased to date. we have a good-sized two-story home in this router pushes internet to all living areas.

I had this routers for about a month and a half before I returned it. I've had Nighthawks previously, and I've never had as many issues as I had with this one. Dropped connections frequently, speed issues, and so on. I've worked in IT for years, and I've never experienced as many issues with a router as this one. I'd look elsewhere.

I bought this to extend my wifi coverage in an office building. The range is great...so far no complaints. Works perfectly for what I needed.

I had the older version of this one and the guy told me they last 5 year's. Yeah don't listen. They only last 3. But great product. Love netgear.

I realized that our old router was limiting throughput on our Wi-Fi. Now I am getting all of the 100 mbps that I pay for and we can stream TV. Great buy!

Love it! so many options to manage your home wifi. A great option for guest wireless so you can share it easily. Also, love 5G wireless option which gives faster speed.

Works well and was easy to set up. Only negative is how much light it gives off. If you leave it on all the time you won’t want it in your bedroom.

My router arrived in a very timely manner. I do not use all its features but is is working great for my needs. It is just as advertised.
