Good router that works. I have my Playstation 4, 2 computers, 2 ipads, 3 phones and eufy base camera system all hooked up to this router. The 5ghz works well. Initially 5ghz was dropping and after some research I lowered the band and now it has been 3 weeks without a drop. My only issue is the support for netgear, they are not in America, they are in India. While they are polite and try to help, the language and communication is not the greatest. I had a problem when I first setup the router using the APP. Called support, after 30 minutes of not getting any where they recommended I reset the router and set it up manually without the App which worked very well. So basically 2 things, if 5ghz is dropping for you, try to lower the band to the lowest or second lowest and that should solve your problem. Second, I say skip the setup with the app and do it by entering the router ip address in your web browser and set it manually. Once done, then set up the App.

The router was easy to set up and the app is easy to use. We now have a strong signal throughout our home.

My buddy has one (or a similar model) and was very happy with it. I had upgraded my cable modem, and cable speed, and had several new WiFi devices, and my older Apple router was starting to feel dated, so I bought this. Unfortunately, I had a number of problems I never had with my Apple, and haven't had with my newer Google routers Pros * it can be very fast Cons * butt ugly * hugely confusing -- look at that massive bank of LEDs * visually invasive -- those LEDs are bright in darkened rooms, and some are always blinking * several of my devices balked at simply connecting -- like my Emerson thermostat, I had to repair it; my Alexa seemed to always be having problems * separates out into 2 visible legacy and 5GHz bands on your devices, forcing you to choose and try to decide which will be best * had to power cycle it more than once * confusing app to set it up

This router had a fast processor and great range. I highly recommend it for large homes. Produces high speeds at consistent rates.

In my home we have a PS4, PS3, Wii, gaming PC, 2 Macbook Pros, 1 Macbook Air, 4 smart phones, 1 ipad, 2 tablets and a lot of online gaming. I upgraded from a Linksys system that was 4 years old that could not keep up with the 150mps online data service that I pay for and this wireless modem has done beautifully. I have a modest 4 bedroom, 2000 square foot 2 story home and everyone seems to receive equally strong coverage without any lag. Highly recommended and will stick with NETGEAR for all future modem/router upgrades.

Router is easy to set up can connect to a bunch of devices with little to no dip in speed. Great router definitely recommend

Great WiFi if you have multiple devices and want to maintain speed. Also has great range for a small house or condo (~1200sqft)

Excellent coverage for a 3200 square foot area. Easy to setup. You do have to call netgear to complete the setup, but its quick.

We had a wifi dead spot in two rooms that we tried to solve with a different brand of router that used a "satellite repeater " approach. That system did not work for us. We have been told that they have issues with dsl. Took it back and traded for this, after a discussion with the Best Buy sales rep. This is the simple solution we needed for our wood walled farm house with the limitations inherent with dsl. Great signal strength and no disconnections or disruptions.

Great product, no need to spend more on a fancy upgrade.

Setup was easy and I have had zero issues so far. Really boosted the speed compared to my old equipment.

The wireless router was easy to set up and improved the performance in my home.

It came with no instructions. Had to use phone app to get it to work. Struggled a little to get thru it. Working great. We have lots of streaming services and 3 people using at the same time. Works all the time. Does not have to buffer very long down loading. Very pleased with netgear. Great product. We got 14 years of great service with the old netgear router.

This router is easy to setup and steady in performance. Works as far out as in the garage.

This router was super easy to set up (not a tech person) and has been running flawlessly for a month now. Wifi speeds are faster in the house than they were with the rental modem/router from our ISP. I love the PC dashboard. We have our own guest network now so that my kids don't have to share our passwords with all their friends. Would definitely recommend. On top of all that, saving money not paying the corporate thieves...I mean ISPs for modem/router rentals.

Overall this router has worked nicely. No issues or situations where I have had to reboot it and the range is substantial. I live in a long ranch home and this fits my needs perfectly. Only 4 stars because sometimes I have connection issues with the attached hard drive, but this could be due to drive compatibility.

Speeds went from next to nothing to holy cow! Range was improved by a long shot and next to zero lag time!

Cox Cable advised me to update my router due to a speed issue. The first AC2300 I bought was defective. It simply would not hold the settings or connections. Cox came two more times. First, they tried to install the router and ended up reinstalling my old one. Second trip, they updated the modem and determined the router defective. Best Buy willingly exchanged it for one that was working and it is great! Happy to be updated...
