Has a good rang between the two bands. Handle6the traffic well. I wish the packaging had been a little more clear about needi6an external modem. Had I realized that I would have spent more to have a stronger signal on all 3 levels of my home but it does a good job on reaching all 3 levels with no range extenders. Overall satisfied with it.

Really like this router - easy to set up and fast

I really like the app that comes with it and the ability to label devices connected to it. The only issue I've had it to use the WPS setup - never have been able to get it to work - neither the "soft" setup or physically pressing the button on the router. Instead, I had to configure wireless devices without WPS.

Kids used to hate WIFI

This was definitely an upgrade. The boys use it for gaming, my wife and I use it for email, etc. We have a few other devices like our Roku on it. Only...thing you should know is that Netgear now uses an App you have to pay for (you get 30 days free) for parental controls. But, overall a good choice.

I had talked to our internet supplier on an issue with our internet and when he saw our Netgear Nighthawk he said that we had one of the best routers one could buy. I am very happy with the ease of setup and use of this product.
