This router is amazing!! Includes Mu-Mimo No lag great performance

I hadn’t upgraded my router in 8 years so I didn’t realize they could be so advance. Mine finally crapped out. In came this bad boy. It’s fast, my husband found no problems installing it. We have two gaming systems running in different rooms plus iPad, iPhones and two Roku systems going at all times. Hope this one lasts us another 8 years!

High speed compared to my old 300N and streaming is no longer an issue. I like the device but not all the flashing lights so I covered them up and support gave me a web site to shut all of them off but power. No self install instruction sheet but what I found on the NetGear website and Youtube helped me complete.

Installation was super simple. Download the app and configured through a wired connection. Set my WiFi password and clicked update firmware as my last step. During this period something happened and the app changed tabs without me touching anything. I let the sequence finish and when it restarted the router could not be seen by the computer. I had no access to the admin menu and holding the reset button was fruitless for a factory reset, just a blinking orange power light. I found a post on Netgear’s forums on how to push a firmware through TFTP, https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/SOLVED-Steps-for-debrick-unresponsive-R7000-softbricked/m-p/1599828#M98064 The router works great now but for the average user this fix through command lines and TFTP could be outside of their scope. Please be careful when updating firmware otherwise you could “soft-brick” your router.

This is my 3rd net gear router. Currently have 32 devices that connect to my WiFi. This router is the Champ. I have no issues and everything handles internet usage well i love the app for this too and the web based logon for this item is great to use. It is secure and i have had No issues

Has way better range and signal strength compared to cheaper brands

I bought this to replace the AC1900. After installing and setting up I was having connectivity issues through wireless and hard wired. Through some Google research I had to downgrade the firmware to the previous version and turn off automatic updates. Haven't had a problem since.

This wireless router is very reliable and the speed is outstanding.

I had a Netgear router that supposedly was working fine. I had had it for at least 5 years or more. I was having major issues with connectivity to the internet on all devices. Turns out it was the router which needed to be replaced. (They recommend doing that every 3 or 4 years!) Works great now!

Working well so far. Easy to set up. Definitely boosted my speed.

I went in to Best Buy to replace my old router with the next model down. I am glad the associate talked me into the faster one for a few dollars more. It is fast and handles my 2 fire sticks along with my PC, 2 phones and 2 tablets with ease! When company comes over, there is a guest Network just for them. I would recommend this router to my friends.
