My existing router from verizon was too bad to always hangup my live streaming. After replacing it with this router, I didn't see any hangups. The Nighthawk app is very useful and the configuration is very easy.

I bought this due to the lagging issues we were having. Since installed by me super easy by the way, no issues whatsoever. Since as if the service is even faster definitely better than ever.

I bought this to replace my old verizon modem. It works even better. Because it's dual band, it has both 2.4 ghz and 5.0 ghz connections. the 5 ghz is very fast. with the 3 antenna, the range goes very far.

So I had my old router for 3 years. It was a good router but it started to slow down when we started connecting more devices and started streaming tv. So saw this router on sale and decided to get it. Have a 2100 square foot house and a this router handles all the devices with no issue. He have 10 different devices on it. Have 2 cameras streaming 24/7 and have my Apple TV 4K connected to it via Ethernet cable. We’ve have 7 different people on it while streaming 4k movies on it and it has had bit trouble handling all that. It also gave me better range and increased my internet from 180mbs to around 220mbs. Netgear products are some of the best and have never had trouble with them.

So far, So good... my old old router was starting to act up after 8 loyal years, and this nighthawk was on a Black Friday special.... Noticed much improved signal strength, and I tried screen mirroring on My Chromecast with my Samsung phone and noticed that the Lag time was significantly improved...The app I used to set up the Router is nice....I can shut off anybody's internet, even when not at home...So kids----have your grades above a D this year...I also have a old Hp Desktop that only had a Nvidia 10/100 ethernet card ( still running Vista) that would not connect via cord to the router unless I went under The device driver for the ethernet card and used a setting that was not Auto-negotiate.. .

I upgraded from an R7000 to this R7400 and was Impressed by the better speeds but disappointed with the available user settings. Although similar to the 7000, the 7000 web management is more comprehensive then the 7400. My router had a bug and would not resolve device names and some ip addresses, Netgear support said to replace it and Best Buy was super to deal with to get this done. I have not received the replacement yet so am curious if the issues I had with the first 7400 will be seen in the replacement. Because Netgear support said the 7400 is a new platform and the code is still being developed and updated, so it will not appear as comprehensive as the older refined 7000.

Great router from Netgear, but wouldn't expect any less from them. Very easy to set up via the app. Range is great and speed is super fast. Won't need to upgrade for a very long time. Super happy.

Works reliably, does not drop the signal, easy to use interface and instructions. It has also a very decent range and a lot of devices can connect to it.

As a gamer and a person with a huge family, the range and bandwidth are amazing. It’s super easy to setup and maintain through the app. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase of this product!

Great router, excellent coverage and easy to follow set up. My ISP bandwidth is even and robust throughout my home and yard... approx 3500 total sq ft. I highly recommend this router.

Got this to see if we could finally fix the issue of devices more than 30 feet away having no signal. We had switched ISP's and never had reliable wifi so we turned off wifi on the Verizon router, and plugged this bad boy in and holy cow!!! What a difference! We have 200mbps internet but could never get anything close to that unless you were very close to the Verizon router. Now we can get close to the full 200 over wifi in EVERY room and most importantly, we can watch TV (entirely by streaming) and have zero buffering issues any longer. This Nighthawk has made a night and day difference - I only wish I had bought this 2 years ago!

Moved to a new apartment building and had access to higher speed internet, so my old router wasn't going to cut it. Got this one on sale, easy to set up, seems to be working great.

I was skeptical when I reas the comments about the setup but it took 3 mins using the app in the phone, it has great range and a solid performance for the money I recommend it

Very good wifi router. Signal is very good for my 1500Sq ft Apartment. Easy set up with iPhone and scanning the 3-D barcode into the NetGear App.

Very easy to hook up to my modem. Step by step instructions and has the app available on my phone so making any changes or look at the system is quick and easy.

Couldn't believe the speed. Much faster than my old Netgear. I would recommend this unit by far. I have solid block walls in my house and get good reception in all rooms.

Bought during black friday sale. Works throughout large house. Switched from apple airport extreme. Get full mbps from internet provider.

I found this really easy to set up.( I followed the video set up since I don't do this type of thing often.) My speed on my wifi has increased significantly.

Installed to replace the terrible modem/router combo AT&T provided with my fiber service. Mission accomplished. Much better coverage and consistant signal.

Got this for $89 on black Friday. Excellent upgrade over previous router. Whole house coverage and speed increases. My dl's went from around 50mbps to 220.
