I'm a big fan of netgear so when I changed internet providers I stayed with netgear for the router modem combo. My speeds were nearly doubled by switching to the combo when I was using a separate modem and linking to my old router. I didn't think there would be that much of a difference in speeds using a combo router and a modem linked to a separate router. The difference was huge for me since I have over 10 devices connected at any given time. This netgear combo is awesome and has good range too. There is not a dead spot in my house.

As an early Linksys adopter and staunchly loyal fan of the WRTx-series WIFI routers, it took years of steadily declining reliability to force a look at the competition. Purchased the NH AC3200 based on articles and reviews, and have not experienced a single inexplicable 2-4 bar connectivity issue after 1-month of owning this device, which had been a weekly+ issue with similarly-priced Linksys equipment. Signal strength is good for roughly 30' radius, but can be impeded via a sufficient number of walls, floors and stairwells, requiring a second wired device to provide adequate coverage for a typical 4000 sq ft home.

Expensive, but you get what you pay for and this thing works great. Works throughout the house (2300 sq ft.) with very little drops or reboots required. Would buy again.

This is the best router out there for speed, reliability and square foot coverage. Even the Comcast tech said the same! It’s just very costly, but worth it!

This has been working great sor far! Had it for over a month now. Previously had the nighthawk ac1900. I wanted to upgrade my speed for work and gaming purposes. Speed is definitely noticeably better download wise. Also with my previous router, it wouldn’t always perform to its capabilities. Whenever i speed check my new router its always at the top of what it. should be. The only difference i didnt like is this router is like twice the size as the old one and takes up twice the space. But i dont mind. Use this on comcast in california

Best router I have ever had, thought it was a bit on the spendy side but it’s awesome because I have no dead spots in my house for Wi-Fi plus I can see all the objects that are connected to it on my phone which is very useful. All my cameras respond within a couple seconds where it use to take at least 10 or so to display. I can see the router in the Wi-Fi settings on my iPhone from across the street on both side of my house as well.

I been having great service replacing my Xfinity router. I saved $14 a month rental fee. The power of this Modem router is great and can take more then the 1G I now have. So I should have this for years to come. I have a 1900 sq ft smart home with 7 ethernet cable lines and 8 devices on wifi. I am very satisfied with the performance of this modem router and would recommend it to anyone. It is a little pricey but you will be pleased.

This Gateway is an exceptional piece of equipment. It's ideal for gamers like me that hates dealing with wifi drops due to Modem Router auto reseting at random times of the day. You will never have to worry about a wifi drop with this device at your side. I've left my PS4 on during an in game Destiny 2 glitch for over 8 hours as I went to work, and when I got back home the glitch was still auto running. This proved to me that the Modem Router is reliable enough to stay on for very long periods of time without auto restarting itself. It's well worth the price.

I am an Xfinity Customer. My internet has been dropping due to their really bad service. I had a technician come out and tell me NOT to use their equipment because of how garbage it is. I would have intermittency issues, and really slow internet of 5 MBPS when I pay for 200+. I switched to this router, and my life has never been better. Everything is faster, it was easy to set up, and I never had issues with my internet again. This was definitely worth the purchase price.

Originally I had the Spectrum Arris modem/router combo and it worked decently for a few years. I didn’t want to spend money out of pocket initially. But this Netgear nighthawk is an entirely different type of technology. There are so many options that I don’t even have the knowledge yet to mess with. I can say that this modem/router combo is literally plug and play and that it is a massive upgrade over any stock modem/router combo that a internet service provider leases you.

Awesome wifi modem/router. Upgraded our Xfinity internet package and are now getting what we pay for and them some. Easy setup. It’s a little big so make sure you have some space for this bad boy. Has stayed connected and haven’t had to do reboot in quite some time. I use both the 2.4 and 5g networks and both are great. I’m using it in our basement and it gives us a lot of coverage. Only one not so good spot in out house, but a wifi extender fixed that.

OVERALL THIS ROUTER HAS BEEN PRETTY GOOD. I AM DISAPOINTED IN THE NETGEAR HELPDESK THOUGH. I CALLED WITH A PROBLEM, THEY SAID "O, YOUR WARRANTY IS EXPIRED. PLEASE PAY $89.00 TO REINSTATE WARRANTY." SO I DID. AT THAT TIME THE REPRESENTATIVE WALKED ME THROUGH THE RESET PROCESS. IN OTHER WORDS, "PUSH THIS BUTTON AND HOLD FOR 10 SECONDS."
