We absolutely love our new Modem Router, we replaced our cable/internet provider's equipment with this one, with a family of 4 with over a dozen items connecting, our speed and quality has never been better, I also tested this to all 4 corners of my 70x160 ft lot and the signal is very strong everywhere! No more complaints from my kids about game lag, or wifi issues, it was easy to set up, the provider was able to connect and add to their network quickly with ease. I highly recommend this item for purchase!

I recently moved into a home w/ 2.7k Sq feet and this device covers my entire house. I was able to get a 8ms ping from the furthest bedroom and I was pleasantly surprised. Also, it will pay for itself in the matter of 10 months since I won't be renting the equipment from the ISP. Extremely easy setup, but if you're moderating knowledgeable, you can customize your network with security you feel comfortable with. Would recommend to anyone who games and wants to go wireless.

Solid machine. Use it on Xfinity. Fast and reliable. Added a Back-UPS to keep it on all the time.

Purchased this to replace my Comcast issued router, and what a difference!! Despite the price tag, this router will pay for itself in about 18mo considering the rental fee Comcast charges. Also, the speeds we are getting now, are so much faster than the one Comcast issued us, and the coverage in my 3000sq/ft home is excellent. I have already recommended this to friends and family as a better alternative to the standard equipment Comcast offers.

I bought 2 of these one for Myself and one for my grandson they work really good for gaming they’re very fast and keeps up with the kids wants for streaming Gaming activities! My grandson loves his as well they are a great bye for the money. Might buy another one for a friend or family member won’t be shy about it great price for the value

Best money spent on a cable Modem / WiFi router. No issues what so ever. No constant rebooting like the Xfinity gig router. Complete 2600 sqft home coverage. XFi pods do not work with this router, but they are not needed anymore. Speeds are the same or better than the Xfinity modem, 960mps DL average on hardwire.

Works great. easy to setup. one of the few choices in store that had a modem/router combo. Good range and wifi 6 capable. No USB ports though I was looking to connect a laptop cooling fan under mine no way to power it though. Nor a direct share usb drive to computers on the network there's workarounds for this still frustrating.

Bought to replace a 4 1/2 year old netgear router/arris modem combo that started slowing down a couple of months ago, let’s just say playing online with a high ping isn’t fun, the only thing that made me hesitant in getting this was the price so i waited until it went on sale to go along with a 10% discount coupon......had it for almost a month now, my plan is up to 250mbps, with 8 devices i’m constantly getting at least 288mbps on each with no issues, great purchase.

Oh my God I have so much to say about this router it has an app that goes with it You can literally see what items are using your Wi-Fi and you can let them connect or not you can disconnect them remotely remotely you can essentially monitor your home remotely and if you put AUS B in the back you can see everybody's information that is logged into your Wi-Fi! Dimply put I had never seen an item with so many features! The one chief complaint I would make is that the hard reset button is between the coaxial and 1 of the antennas making it nearly possible to get into it. It is not well marked in the back so it is difficult as well just all around poor design and awkward when it comes to the hard reset but in the net I am still using this item today I bought it during covid I thought it was rather pricey but it was the only one left Phoenix so I I have been using this item for over a year to give you an adequate review! bought the super fancy night hawk Browder the complex and And amazing features of this item just look at the app if you want to see some of the abilities. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you are not admin on this whether you purchased it or not you are not going to be able to really get the full benefit of it you will have to calm net Gear and have them register you as admin then you can take control with the app et cetera.

Was told it would work with my Xfinity service, but upon talking with Xfinity yhey had informed me the no longer support the current firmware. If i had know this i would've purchased something actually compatible.

I upgraded to this router/modem combo from an earlier version of a NETGEAR router and a Surfboard modem. I immediately noticed an increase in both speed and distance of my wi-fi connection. This is definitely worth the money when you consider that it operates as both a router and a modem. To get comparable speeds from separate equipment you would end up spending more when purchased together. Great value and great product!

This modem/router combo does work well for what it is and has nice range . I have a 1gb xfinity plan and using a Ethernet connection to my computer is pretty much out of the question in my scenario so I am at the mercy of Wifi. Before, I was using the providers rental equipment and was hoping this NETGEAR - Nighthawk modem/router combo would increase my wifi speeds. This did not increase my speeds and remained at around 160Mbps @ 40ft from the router. The only way for me to truly increase my Wifi speeds to my computer was to purchase a single docsis 3.1 modem unit, and use the Orbi Wifi6 triband mesh steup which now gives me around 711Mbps @ 40ft from the router. So, this NETGEAR modem/router combo does do well for what it is and its nice that it does have extra LAN ports if someone needs them but I ended up returning this product as it could not deliver the Wifi speeds I require with the old Wifi5 standard. On a side note, the only reason I took a star off the rating is, I currently have to have my modem and router in my bedroom and the LED's on this thing are SUPER bright. So bright, they literally light up the entire room at night.

This Netgear modem/router was worth the price, working well with my Breezeline internet service.

I don't have to pay the modem rental fee anymore. I've got comcast and it saves me that extra charge. When I had the comcast router it gave people my service as a free hotspot using my bandwidth. It also eliminates those random 2 or 3 a.m. firmware update they like to do. I have not had any issues with this and connectivity.

So far so good! We were due for an updated router/modem to help get the speed we have been paying for. The sale associate we worked with was very helpful and offered alot of 'what to do's' before we left the store. Between that and the enclosed instructions we were able to get connected in no time. It was an investment, but for us, long overdue. We are happy to have a solid, non-glicthy system!
