It is an awesome product, when you automate your home with 80 integrating more devices, it is very handy and almost everything can be done on the app, if anybody thing you want

Recent Purchase - Great so Far

Have 3600 sq ft spread across a ranch style/single floor home. Systems covers entire house and provides decent range into garage and exterior of home allowing me to stream music (& TV on back patio) across most of my acre lot.

Flame THROWER of a Mesh WiFi 6

Love the ARMOR protection that has stopped a couple of spam attempts on my network in the first two weeks.

The fact satellites only have a single RJ45 connector means the use of it to distribute network connections to places you cannot run network cables is limited. Meaning you may need to use a switch (sold separately) to connect multiple hard-wired devices to the station. I did not improve on a much older 802.11ac wireless router putting this in service. In fact, it didn't really impress me more than the old ORBI I had set up. It was returned.

The system constantly crashes and when rebooted fails to produce a signal for half our devices and requires 2 hours of fiddling to fix after numerous reboots, firmware refreshes, and hard resets.

Perfect!

I did my research and the Netgear Nighthawk AX1800 was the best option for my budget. It has gone above and beyond my expectations. The application is so user friendly. I highly recommend getting the Nighthawk AX1800!

Router with booster for Tri-level home.

Since Covid began, I have been working from home and doing sessions over Zoom,. Often my clients are far away and good connection is a must! Thank you!

Wifi everywhere

We get great connection throughout our house, where before we had low spots on each side. It was a little difficult to set up with the app, so I suggest downloading the pdf of the instructions online, and follow those!

Usually, there isn't that much trouble when the router is connected to both satellites. The only thing I would worry about is when they may get disconnected, but that hasn't happened yet.

Great overall wifi system

Wifi 6 is so much better than the router i had before. Fast reliable connection, with an ethernet port at every base station. Also easy to add more satellites if needed to increase your coverage area

Great system, light bright

It has solved the dead zone issues we were having. I DO wish that the bright blue light was dimmable as one of the units is in my bedroom.

Bad out of the box.

Then I tried the sync button option, still did not work Also tried phone support, not very highly technical. After long holds and pauses of trouble shooting, technician told me the product was defective. Now I have drive back to the store to maybe get one that works. Not a good introduction to the Netgear products. Big waste of time.

Nighthawk AX1800

The Netgear AX1800 improved our upload and download speed in the whole house, but especially in the rooms that are far away from the router.
