Easy set-up once I updated the firmware. At first I was not so ready to give a good review, but once I got it set up, have not had any trouble at all with the mesh network

I have been using a range extender for years and have found them to be lose contact with the router on a regular basis. In addition a two band Netgear extender would often drop connections with the router on the 5 GHz band. It was not out of range. This mesh system has solved all problems. It is faster and stable so no more rebooting extenders or router. Easy to set up and supports lots of devices with no slow down. Not cheap but worth it!

Eero stopped its support for items I just bought a few years ago from them. I was very unhappy! This Netgear mesh unit (3-piece, dual-band) set up easier, was less expensive, and works perfectly! And, they support their hardware until I don’t want to use it anymore. I’m tired of “throw-away” electronics! (Ahem…Eero, Google, etc). All I need to do now is go back to Best Buy and buy another set for my office! Signed, BigGuy65

Love this product. I replaced my google mesh routers with these and I wish I would have done it sooner. Comparatively, I get on average over 300mbs faster download speeds over google.
- easy to install
- easy to setup
- user friendly app
- great speed
- coverage area is the bomb.
Fantastic buy.

I used these in an old house where I was having wifi range issues. I had a Nighthawk router at my old house and these were at a great price point compared to other mesh wifi systems so I thought I would give them a try. The satellites don't feel very substantial but I didn't have any issues with signal strength or speed. They were easy to set up as well. They gave the house perfect signal throughout.

Aside from being fortunate (and timely) in purchasing this NETGEAR system at a great (Deal of the Day) price, my family and I share very happy with the discernibly improved Loading Speeds and performance throughout our household. The included Satellite units greatly help disseminate Wi-Fi coverage.

As the title states, the wi-fi coverage I'm getting now is like night and day.
I am an experienced tech person, so that is my frame of reference in this review. First, I did my research before coming into the store to purchase. Most reviews I read, didn't mention the NETGEAR Mesh Wi-Fi 6 system. However; being a tech person, I have used a myriad of NETGEAR products over the years, so I knew before hand they deliver quality consumer network products. I like the NETGEAR system for two primary reasons: 1) price point and 2) it doesn't spy on me like some other products I'll not mention. Outside of that, the wi-fi coverage and number of devices that can connect simultaneously is comparable to more expensive products. In addition, I liked the fact that each satellite has a wired gigabit LAN backflow connection.
The installation was a little tricky because my ISP service is different than most; nevertheless, I was able to access the router configuration interface in short order to make the necessary adjustments to connect to my ISP. My last three home routers were all NETGEAR, so I am very familiar with the router interface. The satellites connected automatically, so for overall installation, it was very quick and easy.
My biggest concern, was getting a good wi-fi signal to our bonus room above the garage. Previously, I had a router configured as a access point to the main router via hardwire LAN connection. It worked, but I also had one other router within the house acting as another access point. Again, this worked, but not as well as one would think. When you move from one place to another within the house, the wireless devices would need to connect to the different access points, but it was never that simple and was not consistent - even if using the same SSID for all access points. One of the new NETGEAR Mesh satellites is located downstairs below the bonus room, but there is ample signal to provide coverage to the bonus room now.
My wife and daughter have complained for years about our wi-fi in our home. Since I have installed this new Mesh system, zero complaints! I am very pleased and wish I'd have made this switch long ago.
I highly recommend this system if you're looking for a cost effective solution to whole home wi-fi coverage.

This is a good out of the box system. You might need to be a smidge tech savvy if you want to adjust some settings outside of the “app” they have you download. I give it 4 stars only because they don’t allow you to adjust which signal you can put a device to. As others have said, I wish Netgear would allow that feature to be adjustable. Other than that I’ve actually increased my speed dramatically with this simple upgrade. My last router was bottle necking my actual speed I was paying for. Im impressed with this system would recommend it to a heavy gamer, multiple device, heavy media home.

Overall, great product and perfect for upgrading your home WiFi. On my 300 Mbps Xfinity plan, I was getting 345 Mbps.
However, the router prevented me from using the LG ThinQ and LG Sound Bar apps (iOS). This may be related to the Netgear Armor functionality. Content streaming for TV and soundbar worked normally.
ThinQ - My devices always appeared "Disconnected". After factory resetting devices, they would not connect to the app.
Sound Bar - Could not control or adjust volume and settings from the app. Same with factory resetting.

This system has been a massive upgrade for my home network. The system is easy to install and configure and it just works like a champ.
I have been more than impressed with the quality and price. Home network coverage has gone up, as has speed and reliability. I’ll be adding a couple more to fully saturate my property. I have noticed a marked improvement when using a wired Ethernet backhaul between the satellites and the base station; however, even with wireless backhaul, I found the connection strong and consistent.
