Terrible speeds on the satellite routers.

However, at best, the signal is weak and I often have to switch to my Verizon 5G to access the internet. Sometimes I haven’t been able to stream either and when I can it often stops in the middle of a program. NetFear’s email says my router isn’t connecting but so far it won’t reconnect after many tries. I’m a Geek Squad select member but I can’t get an appointment until 9/28/22. It’s frustrating to say the least. Dan McKane

In fact, it is less effective than the Spectrum stock router and Netgear extenders I replaced. The Geek Squad technician was dismayed that a Best Buy salesperson would even recommend this system. I'm taking advantage of my TotalTech membership to get this removed from my 2000 sf house and replaced with something that works. And, by the way, this is advertised to work in >4,000 sf space - do NOT believe that!

It took a while to get it set up and updated. Wireless Distance wasn’t amazing.

Got the Orbi instead

Can't implement networking standards from 1998

This is 2021, IPv6 was standardized in 1998, and this crap router can't figure out how to work with it. Oh sure it "supports" IPv6, but only on your local network; it won't route internal and external IPv6 between eachother, which at that point why bother. I got a Linksys, plugged it in, and everything worked automatically.

Bad product even worse return policy.

Does not properly manage the devices throughout the mesh network. I would of returned it but Best Buy return policy wouldn't allow it. With products like this it should be a 30 day return. I'm guessing thats why people shop Amazon. Horrible product. Horrible customer serves by Best Buy.

No power

Junk!!!!!

Reset button did not work. Router became totally unresponsive….could not RE-join the network, could not start over…Tech support could not resolve and said “better take it back, it’s dead”

Really disappointed for this purchase.

One you turn on any gaming console, every other connection goes really bad. All other devices were failing and the satellites keep getting disconnected for no reason. I regret buying it. To make it even worst, netgear won’t even honor their product and want you to buy a warranty to give you any type of support on how to fix it yourself as well.

Died during setup

The setup for this was extremely difficult (coming from a person that is tech savvy). Don’t purchase this router or from this brand. Better off with a Linksy or ASUS

Netgear support suggested I pay them to fix the problem they created. Garbage.

All NETGEAR products come with 90 days of complimentary technical support, and 1 year of hardware replacement warranty. If you are beyond the 90 days of complimentary support and you need additional technical support you will be asked to purchase an extended support contract, but if the device has failed and needs to be replaced you will not be charged for the support call, since this is covered under the hardware replacement warranty.

Don’t buy this

Spent 90 minutes on phone with netgear help line, they could not get it to work. Then paid geek squad $100 to install and get working. Geek squad could nor get it to work. Finally had to return it and buy something else. Waste of time and

I ended up buying a Google Nest that tech had & set that up. That works so far although we still get some drop offs every now & then.
