Bought these for a gamer house. Set one up next to the modem, the second went next to the pc for an ethernet connection, and the third on the further side of the house for some range. No complaints on the signal or set up. Quick and easy. 10 outta 10, would recommend

I've had many different routers and once I got into the NetGear Nighthawk brand I never looked back. That applies when I upgraded from the regular to the mesh Nighthawk when I moved to a moch larger home and needed more coverage.

I purchased this for a multistory household which has significant overlap with neighbors wireless connections. The mesh system does a great job in keeping a low ping and speed with multiple computers, televisions, consoles and phones connected.

The Night Hawk wireless router has allowed me to fully experience the 1 gig plan I have with ATT. My home has over 4000 sq ft and 3 levels but there are NO dead spots. With 19 devices, the whole family loves it. I highly recommend!

So far they have good range and easy to install. The app makes it really easy on how to install and lets you keep track of your wifi strength and other things

Product worked as advertised ! It increased my WiFi speed test 2-3 times as compared to using old Spectrum router and removed dead/weak WiFi areas in home. I too like the NetGear Nighthawk app & that it was easy to install. I bought on sale around ~$200, so great deal IMO. An upgrade would be additional ports on router and include 2.4 gHz. Note: 5gHz router only & some products only work on 2.4gHz, such as Ring Floodlight cam... for which I used MOCA device from router over cable wire to another 2.4gHz router i happened to already own.

This is an amazing product. It lets me use the full 1k speed that I pay for. Before the AT&T modem was limiting my speed even though I pay for 1k. The security is good to have too. Especially with teenagers using suspect sites lol!

As someone with a decent background in computer networking, in my opinion, this is a 6/10 wifi router/ap. -1 for the horrible netgear web management interface -1 only have one ethernet port on the master router for wired backhaul (you must add a ethernet switch to the setup, but wired backhaul works great) -1 for the forced software update during setup -1 for not including the manual and not listing all the necessary spec on the box.

Worked ok at first, but one of the units stopped working in just a few weeks. So I took it back and decided to buy something different.

An excellent product that provides strong Wi-Fi signals through out your home using the router and two satellites Setup was a breeze with its phone app. Excellent security is provided by the included BitDefender software.

My biggest problem with these was the software (the app). It was poorly made and not intuitive. There was also a weird issue with logging in as admin where it wouldnt recognize the correct creds. I was able to modify some features through accessing the router directly but still wasnt as robust as i wanted. The units did their job but the signal was weak compared to other options available around a similar price point.

Bought this to improve the wifi at my father's house and it certainly delivered. Great speed and connectivity even out in the garage where the old router could not reach. Great value.

Works out of the box with minimal setup. Replaced my garbage spectrum router and now I have whole house coverage out to the backyard and most of the front yard.

Easy setup with the app - walks you through it step by step. Works well but expected a little better connectivity and speed. Sometimes I get "waiting for connection" and I'm literally 2 feet from a satellite with line of site. Curious. But it's working with my 2 Tivos in different parts of the house/different floors, so serving the purpose for the purchase. Though could've saved $ had I bought it from Newegg.

Great Product! The new Netgear Nighthawk Wi-Fi satellites produces high performance on the 5GHz band, and an outstanding set of features. Also a affordable device for a oversized home

This product is awesome. Easy set up and works great in my brick house which always had a horrible connection, strength is great from 3rd floor to basement. Thank you so much.

We love this NETGEAR Nighthawk mesh wifi. We have a 3 floor house and the Xfinity router is on the first floor but the teenagers are on the 3rd. The signal was horrible. We tried the Xfinity xfi pods but the signal was sketchy. This mesh wifi was super easy to set up. It synced up with the router immediately. We tried it with and without the Xfinity router. For us it worked better with it but I know from other reviews many people were able to get rid of their router and just use the NETGEAR. The signal is super fast on every floor. I'm thrilled with this and I totally recommend it.

Went from 50mpbs to almost 400 when I switched from our old router. Was super simple to set up and didn’t give me any trouble. Highly recommend this product!

With how easy it was to set up I had my new network up and running in just under 15 minutes. Strong signal throughout my home and with the Nighthawk app it's super easy to manage your network from anywhere.
