Customers are saying
Customers love the Nighthawk AX1800 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System's ease of use, extensive coverage, and quick setup. Many appreciate the strong signal and wide range, resulting in improved performance. Easy setup and great coverage
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started streaming everything instead of standard cable service so needed to upgrade from my internet providers standard equipment. Can get coverage in the garage, outside, down the street even. Only issue is that the satellite has lost signal twice but unplugging and plugging it back in has solved it. The app is also pretty handy to check network status

Perfect for extending your wifi
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have ATT internet and their extenders are awful and I had to replace it every month. I got these and no more fuss! They work perfectly and have had Zero issues with loss of Wi-Fi in the back rooms of my house. The protection it comes with is also great and secure. This is perfect if you need to extend your Wi-Fi.

Works better than hoped for
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mesh system does a great job covering the entire area of my house. I matched it with a netgear modem, and I now have zero issues with my internet where I was having trouble loading, buffering, and streaming with on a single device. The switch seemed to take away the issue completely. Well worth the money.

Great Coverage and Speeds. Lacks Ethernet Ports.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup: TLDR: Quick and easy setup for all Setup was quick and easy. I was able to shut down my old router and wireless network and have the new one up in around 25 mins. The Nighthawk app walks you through the entire process and is significantly better than Netgear’s previous app. The app is definitely geared toward the novice user and helps you get up and going quickly. It is not geared for anyone in IT or who has a solid grasp of networking; however, these users can still login to the normal admin portal. Features and Performance: TLDR: Great Coverage via Mesh Network, Fast, Consistent Speeds, Lacks Ethernet Ports The mesh network works as advertised. I was excited to test this as a coworker had just installed another mesh network and raved about the improved performance. Performance is significantly better than my old AC2300 router. Speeds are higher and more consistent across the entirety of my home (between 3000-4000 sq ft). Connections are stable across the many smart home devices spread from the garage to the kitchen. Besides the Mesh Network, the #1 feature I was excited about is the ethernet port on the Satellite. I have a home office far from my main router and always had poor, but adequate speeds. Having a wired connection improved my speeds from around 25 Mbps to 80 Mbps on a 100 Mbps connection. Another great feature is the ability to pause and resume connections quickly from the Nighthawk app. This allows me to more dynamically control what devices are utilizing my network. By far the biggest negative is the lack of Ethernet ports on the router itself. Anyone with smart home hubs, NAS, or other Ethernet only devices will have to purchase a switch or utilize an old router. If this device came with 4 or more Ethernet ports I would rate it 5/5. Expectations: The device met my expectations. It functions as advertised. Provides increased coverage in larger homes, as well as, consistent speeds. Recommendation: I would recommend this for anyone with a large home who utilizes WiFi, but does not have a need for multiple Ethernet connections. I received this product from NETGEAR as part of a review and test program.

Waste of Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unstable and Unreliable. I have to attends almost daily for connectivity. The app to control the device is also unfriendly. I bought this router because old one became unstable. This one is worse than old one. I want money back! That's bad!

A Must Buy!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A must buy! Download speed more than quadrupled (35Mbps to 205Mbps). Ping is near non-existent (avg. 80ms ping to less than 5ms ping). WiFi strength is amazing. Extra node extended WiFi signal across 3500sq ft. two story home. Great purchse!

Great router for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first mesh wifi system, and it's amazing. I went with this model (instead of the Orbi) because it has the Ethernet port on the satellite station. I plugged that into an unmanaged switch and have been able to "hard line" in devices that cannot receive wifi.

Good Router
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Expensive but good system. The only real downside is the cost/scarcity of extra satellites.

Novelty idea but lacks execution
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to get my hands on this mesh system because of WiFi 6. After a simple setup process, I was up and running in minutes. As I dove into speed testing, I was disappointed to realize the pair underperformed comparing to my stand alone nighthawk AC2300 router. I ended up opting for Eero pro 3-pack WiFi 5 mesh which yielded better performance.

Textile Chemist
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what it advertises. I don't like that it comes with a trial subscription for an integrated AV that I don't subscribe to. I actually liked it, but I paid for a different PC based AV last year and I want to use that. They have you by the kahoones. I think that this product is more of a loss leader for their AV service.

Posted .Hi TextileChemist,
Thank you for your feedback. Once the trial is over it will not continue if you have disabled the service in your Nighthawk app. https://kb.netgear.com/000060900/How-do-I-turn-NETGEAR-Armor-on-or-off-using-the-Nighthawk-or-Orbi-app
