Overall not a bad mesh setup but does not play well with a custom network like pfsense.

I tried the less expensive Wifi range extenders, and I still lost signals. My 17 year old grandson berated me for being cheap and suggested this system as a replacement. He was right. My wifi now works in my whole house. No dark spots.

I especially like the app. Makes it easy to control! Definitely improved the wireless situation. Previous router (onboard the ATT modem for fiber) wasn’t able to deal with all the wireless devices with everyone home at the same time. This solved the issues.

I am extremely unhappy with this system. First, it provides terribly slow wi-fi - slower than our 8-year-old single Netgear router that it replaced. It also provides terrible coverage. The single satellite that came with it does not provide coverage to our whole home, which would be fine if I could purchase additional satellites as advertised on the Netgear website. But, despite all of the product descriptions that say this is possible, Netgear does not actually sell additional satellites. The final nail in the coffin for me is that it breaks wi-fi connection with our one Windows computer on a daily basis. Every single morning, I have to run Windows Troubleshooter, then reboot the system, then finish the Troubleshooter for that computer to have internet access. Utterly ridiculous. The only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1 is that the set up was very easy and worked well and the app that goes with it is very nice.

I wanted a mesh network to replace my nighthawk x6 that was having issues. In the back of my mind I was telling myself not to buy another netgear product but I did because the specs seemed great for the price. I purchased this product in April and finally had enough. Constant network drops next to the router on multiple devices was the main reason I had to ditch the product. When it worked it was great having a Ethernet port was also nice. when I was connected to the router my devices would have no connection to the internet, pages would not load just spin. I would constantly have to reset the satellites and then the devices to get the connection restored. My house is a 2200sqft square shape. I don’t like to write a bad review but I will never buy another netgear product. I wish I was still in the return window but I wanted to make sure I knew what the problem was.

I returned this item because I decided to buy a tri-band mesh router. It worked fine.

Great WiFi I was amazed on what the mesh system does.. all my ring cameras work absolutely perfect now, kids stream 4K all day, great for gaming I have zero complaints.. huge upgrade over the traditional WiFi router with a extender.

Finally got internet for our home and purchased this item. Works great!

Love these routers, easy set up and they work great. I have a two story home and had no wifi in parts of my home. Now, I have wifi in all my home.

Very easy to install and network been reliable for 7 months now. No dropped calls or network connection issues with 4 separate zoom video calls and streaming TV simultaneously operating off the mesh network

The net gear mesh system did work well albeit it does have some caveats. The major issue is I cannot link my wifi door lock because it only uses the 2.4ghz bandwidth. The system doesn’t let you lock bandwidth.

Wifi 6?...meh No significant difference at all. Product works though.

Bought this system in January and setup was easy with the Nighthawk app. Worked fine for a couple of months and then started to freak out, disconnecting my devices, creating issues with ip verification, Ethernet on satilite stopped working. Netgear support was okay. Current RMA on the satilite since it can't be returned to Best Buy. Would not buy this product or suggest it for anyone that require a reliable connection.

Super happy with the new setup have about 14 devices and 400 MB with no latency and a system that can support it. I have had previous setups and been always happy with NETGEAR equipment now onto the next level.

It has completely transformed our internet service. Especially when we are depending on the computer so much with zoom and other virtual platforms. We should have done this a long time ago.

Good not great.. the person that assisted me from the store was incorrect on their use. Said they replace my router but they do not replace it , they help it and my low signal areas are better now but not great .. now to get a router to gice us better wifi

I have never had such great Wifi coverage in our house until now. We more than 25 devices connected and still have outstanding Wifi connectivity. So glad we made the step up to mesh!

My internet issues have been eliminated since purchasing this product. The satellite gives excellent Wi-Fi signal on the second floor of the house, which used to be a problem before.

Was paying for 100mbps but getting 25mbps with Old wifi ACS. With nighthawk now getting 100mbps....Satisfied to say the least !!!!
