Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Netgear on July 4, 2020 and began noticing frequent device connection issues with "Couldn't get IP address" errors by July 13 . It seemed to mainly effect our Samsung phones, Chromebooks, and Google Home speakers. After a week of troubleshooting with Netgear support, along with reading reviews from others having the same issue, I decided to return it for a different brand. I was pretty disappointed with the product. in addition, I learned early on is that the device was not easily compatible with my Chamberlain garage door opener, Ring, and Rachio devices. I believe it had something to do with the way the device combines the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz frequencies. I got around the issue by enabling the guest WIFI and naming it the same name I used for the 2.4 ghz network on my previous device. Definitely research this before purchasing.

Red X can't see ethernet cable or times out looking for the connection during set up. Huge waste of time. I usually use eero but needed something in a pinch. Junk don't waste your time!
