    Amazing Gaming 2 in 1 Modem/Router

Excellent router & modem I replaced this with my cox router I was renting and it eventually paid itself off. I was also dealing with slow internet because everyone in my apartment complex was on the same channel due to cox preventing you from being able to change this through their router settings as of recently. I am now able to change to whatever channel I want and no longer deal with network congestion.

I successfully connected and set up my new router/modem. Both internet provider, Netgear, and home security company helped me get it all set up. It's a difference day with the technology. Smart TV, printer, phones, etc. Now that they are all talking nicely together I am very pleased with the product.

Very easy to set up and customize and so much better than having two devices. The admin is also easy, and got it up and running in a few minutes. Getting older devices to connect was also easy. Not a fan of the Armor trial and I'm not going to install Bitdefender in all my devices, it's not a necessary software and seems like too much interference into privacy. Get a VPN and ignore the bells and whistles that come as trials. Nighthawk app is good and just like other Netgear routers I've had, it's a nice feature, but I like the local admin panel more because there are more settings to access.

I got this router/modem to replace a DOCSIS 3.0 that was about 3 years old and was causing constant lag and disconnects. I have a good amount of devices in my home. I was a bit turned off at the $400 price point but decided to go with the Nighthawk AX2700 and I am glad I did. It is lightning fast I am getting way better speeds on all my devices with no interruption's. I truly believe this is the best router/modem combo.

Finally swapped the outdate, provider issued modem that I probably paid for 15 times with the lease. This Nighthawk was very easy to install and set up. The Nighthawk app is very helpful and great to have on hand! I hard wired both gaming PC’s and haven’t experienced any lag since!

this modem/router has been working very well for me. My old modem/router would drop the signal on average of about 3 times a day. This modem/router has dropped the signal on me, but it averages less than once a week.

It’s Perfect!, Ditched the “rent-a-Wi-Fi/modem” from COX for this and never been happier. No more equipment rental for the “panoramic” dud they lease you. The signal is great which is why I updated to this the signal reaches every where in my apartment. The same day I picked this up I went to my ISP to return the old and let them register this before I even opened the box so that when I got home everything was literally plug and play, just follow the easy setup instructions on the nighthawk app.

I just purchased this router/modem combo to replace an ARRIS router/ modem combo. My nighthawk puts out higher download and upload speeds. I get about 930 Mbps down and about 23-25 Mbps up. My service from Xfinty is rated at 800 down and 20 up. My nighthawk was easy to setup and the wifi range is much much better. In would definitely recommend anyone to buy this.

Love the speed and coverage. A word of caution though, router/modem combination units wear out twice as fast as the items purchased separately. But I like simplicity. Rather than troubleshooting two devices, I only have one to worry about. And... since I already have the Total Tech Protection membership stemming from another purchase, this shortfall disappeared. As long as I keep the protection plan active. I will have free replacements should they fail.

This nighthawk modem it’s pretty good and fast. The cable company always wants you to use their modem, because they can get into it probably whenever they want and they get an extra $10-$15 a month extra. My last NightHawk lasted almost 10 years and I’m hoping this one will do the same.

It's a good router, my last one was outdated and no longer compatible with my ISP. This router is just an updated version of the same model. Very reliable, no problems so far.

Wanted to upgrade internet to gigabit speeds and needed a new modem/router. Very happy with this product. Does exactly what I need. Good coverage with WiFi and great speeds with Ethernet. Wish they weren't so expensive but that's about it.

Easy to setup, great features, and a huge difference in reliability compared to the modem provided by my internet service provider. The routing side handles multiple devices connected at the same time with ease. Only wish is a feature to manage internet access per MAC address instead of IP. Would be a great add on for managing kids devices. Currently you can do Scheduled IP access but that would mean, for reliability, setting static IPs instead of DHCP. Would definitely recommend this beast.

Excellent connectivity and very easy to personalize security settings. There's also options to add on extra services for the router. Only downside for me was that I didn't add an extended warranty and just my luck during a storm a power surge fried my router. I definitely recommend adding an extended warranty.

    NEW NIGHTHAWK

I’ve been using the Nighthawk Netgear router for a while now, and overall it’s a solid performer. The setup was straightforward, the connection is stable, and the speeds are good for streaming, gaming, and everyday use. However, the signal strength is just alright — it reliably covers most of my devices but struggles to reach every corner of my 3,500 sq. ft. house. If you have a larger home or thick walls, you may notice dead spots in far rooms or upstairs. If you just need reliable Wi-Fi for a medium-sized area, this router works great and does what it’s supposed to do.
