The modem router combo was very easy to set up and use. I love the security features and the notifications. 9/10, would buy again.

This Router with Modem was just what my Xfinity system needed for an upgrade. It was reasonably priced and very easy to set up. It has improved our overall performance for all of our TV's, Echo's, computers and cell phones. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to cut our the monthly fees that Comcast/Xfinity charges for their router/modem.

I purchased this router/modem combo to replace a previous NETGEAR router/modem. That one worked fine for about five years... until it just stopped working. POSITIVE: I've had this one running for about 6 weeks now and it does a great job for personal and work from home duty. We use it mainly for general Internet browsing via laptops/mobile phone, Netflix streaming and video conferencing for work and there are no issues. (Our Internet is provided by cable with 800 MB service.) Each computer / TV has multiple walls (all on the same floor) between the device and the router/modem but speed is still good. NEGATIVE: The set-up process was a HUGE pain. Looking back, I think where the process really went off the rails was when I tried to change the network name and password during the initial set-up, to reuse what I had with my previous modem/router. This is actually RECOMMENDED by NETGEAR as part of the set-up process. After several days of frustration and NETGEAR blaming the cable company and the cable company blaming NETGEAR, I finally spoke to someone at NETGEAR who said you should NEVER try to change the network name / password away from the default values during the initial set up. They said wait at least 24 hours before making that change. So when I started over and used that approach, things worked much better and the next day it did accept the old values and things continued to work fine. If making this change causes issues during initial set-up, then it should NOT be recommended by NETGEAR as part of the set-up process. Knowing this up front would have saved me hours of wasted time and a lot of frustration. Overall the product seems to work well, but the set-up almost made me want to take it back and get another brand.

I purchased this to replace a wireless router than stopped working. After consulting with the Best Buy representative, I purchased this combined cable and wireless router. Wow, what an upgrade it was over my previous setup. The internet is much faster now. The set up was extremely easy. I have always been a NETGEAR fan. I do recommend the new WiFi 6 technology. It's advanced technology has made a difference. We can have multiple devices on the network (I.E. Grandkids with tablets, XBox, Ring doorbells, etc.) and everything works smoothly. Great purchase for my situation.

We recently moved into our first home and needed a new router. The guys at Best buy recommended the Nighthawk so we went with it. Super easy to set up and hasn’t given us any issues! We are very happy!!

I spent 4 hpurs with Cox trying to get another brand router/modem installed but to no avail. I decided to return it and buy the Netgear Nighthawk CAX30S. It took 5 minutes to install and get working. My speeds are great and its range is much better than the Cox cable modem/router.

Had to call comcast and then there was an issue that required calling netgear too. Got it rigged up and running after a bit, after a couple phone calls to difficult to understand phone representatives from the two companies. Working fine so far, speeds are testing higher when I run xfinity speed test. Reality is though, it doesn't feel any different than my Motorola 7550, which comcast said didn't meet the speed requirements. Who knows. This mug was expensive. For $379 I kinda feel I should be able to drive this thing to work and talk to it like a robotic friend to help console me from the tears I shed from spending fo' hunned dollas

The NetGear Nighthawk AX2700 was very easy to install. I love the feature that you can view everything on your phone. This helps tremendously with usage and outages. The pricing was within my budget. I have had no problems with the modem router. Reliability was what I was looking for and this product hit the right button. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase of my AX2700. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for price, reliability and dependability.

I really recommend NETGEAR Nighthawk® AX2700 WiFi Cable Modem Router (CAX30). It has been very fast and reliable. I never had a problem with Netgear equipment and i had my previous Netgear modem router for over 7 years with no problems but it was time to upgrade due to I was not getting the latest updates to maximize the speed I am paying in my plan. You won't regret the purchase. Very easy install, very user friendly. You will be happy with the super fast speeds.

After connecting the unit to your cable and calling your internet provider to get it recognized, go to a computer and go to routerlogin.net and set it up from there like the instructions say. If you try to start connecting your devices without doing that, they will keep dropping from the network until you do. Also, download the app to your phone and afterwards and in the settings, update the software. After doing these things, I set the security to WPA3, then set the connectivity to their Smart connect in the app. After doing all of this, I finally started to connect devices to the new network without issue. My iPhone connected automatically, and I found the password for the new network when I went to the WiFi settings for the new network on my phone. Then I used that password to connect the other devices.

Used to have a different brand modem, my speed would always fluctuate now with Nighthawk modem i have consistent speed and great performance

We have had no issues. Great purchase. Easy to install and use.

Good router, stable internet and longer range.

If you’re a gamer or just want hi speed internet I would definitely recommend this product. We have the whole house running on this product and I still don’t have any issues playing online games.

I have only been using the Nighthawk for a short period of time. But it is very fast, and reliable (no drops). Installed easily, and has a good admin interface. Would recommend.

I bought this item and it’s been absolutely rock solid. Great range and speeds are right up to what I am paying for and then some with spectrum . Very easy to setup and install. This one replaced a prior model after five years. Very dependable.

This product is super easy to set up and as the instructions said took about 20 minutes… No cords or anything were required! Just an easy download on the app and I was on my way! I am running about 1.3 gigs through the device and it seems to do very well! I have had no problems and love it so far! :-)
