Netgear Nighthawk is one of the best router cable modems. Setting up was a breeze with the app and I went online to add modem to my internet service provider after removal of my old modem. Loading up is a breeze since the router is lightning fast. I surf the web in less time due to the quick response of the modem/router. Well worth the investment and Netgear stands behind their product. Support team is very knowledge if you need to contact them for anything. I am very pleased with the purchase and I hope to be for years to come.

Purchase new WiFi router so the garage EV charger and Tesla would “talk” with phone app. The increase in speed, connectivity, stability and power has exceeded expectations. WiFi connected apps on different devices that have never updated have now been updated due to speed and broadcast reach. The extended range and speed has been stunning. Should have upgrade frim my old, cheap router years ago!

I've had it up and running for about a week. The set up was easy (longer than the 20min claimed). So far had been a major improvement to the TP-Link moden I had before. We'll see what happens in the next few months.

I bought this Netgear AX2700 modem/router combo as a replacement for two older separate Netgear devices. The old ones delivered much slower wifi speed as compared to what I should have based on my xfinity plan. This new device works great increasing the speed by up to 10 times compared to the old ones. The area coverage is very good everywhere in my 2BR apartment even though the router is not centrally located due to location of my cable outlet. I would certainly recommend it for those using xfinity internet service. Others may need to check with their providers.

Great router! I bought this so that I wouldn't have to continue renting one from my internet provider and it's really fast and awesome. Plus the app is very user friendly.

Love it. Seamless set up, works with xfinity app. I have multiple streaming devices and cameras hooked up no problems.

I can connect any and every device neded with minimal slowdown. Built in security protocols are better than expected but I still utilize additional. Price paid was worth it but hoping the industry does not change requirements any time soon.

Purchased this router because my network kept shutting down all connections. So I changed modems. So good, considering getting rid of eero system! The set up was easy with the app and it’s dependable. I promptly returned my broadband ISP MODEM/router. Best setup tip; do not disconnect or disable your current modem until you have activated your new modem with your ISP! Otherwise you could be without internet for hours waiting on customer service as I did!

Great product that was very easy to set up. Performs beautifully. My internet speed went from 67MG to 417MG. I’m finally getting the internet speed I pay for. The app is pretty cool also.

Bought this to replace the Netgear AC1750 that was cutting out intermittently. That unit turns out to have a known chipset issue. This one was on the list of units that do not. Finally getting the speed I have been paying for.

Solid product, works great, reliable. I have had several NetGear products. Always solid performance. The one issue I have with NetGear, they do not support special characters in your WiFi password. I replaced a Cable router where I had a special character in my password. I had to reprogram multiple devices in my home: Ring, Nest, Schalge door locks & Garage door openers to name a few. In todays world of daily cyber attacks, that is a crappy policy to not support special characters in passwords

Unfortunately, I ended up return this model because it was not compatible with my phone service with Cox Communications. Written on the box in small print it tells you that. After returning this item, I switched to fiber. I did set this up and used it briefly, for like a few hours, and during those few hours, it worked fine.

wanted to upgrade my router because our other one was pushing 6-7 years old and we were starting to see performance issues. Great decision and upgrade. easy to connect and get started and have amazing wire connected and wifi speeds. I always recommend buying your own vs renting from the service provider it pays for itself.
