    Awesome out of the box for the first 90 days and now it slows down and turns off and reboots periodically.

    Great wireless product. Does an awesome job. I already added an additional satellite to my system. I plan adding more when I can afford it. Easy setup. It replaced 5 AP & Routers.

    When connection is there, holds strong and fast. The issue is, the connection is constantly dropped, gaming online is impossible even when wired into on of the units. The app has very little user control, just a miss. I came from the Asus XT8 and understand wifi 6 is new tech but the stability of this router is very disappointing

    Easy to set up. Good range. I had the Nighthawk router app before and setup was seamless. I wish it had a USB connection so I could add a network storage device.

    Wifi keeps plummeting, not our providers fault.

    When it works, its pretty fast. Our problem is that the wifi speeds keep plummeting. During these "downs" the main router itself still says its getting 960+mbps (we're on fiber) and yet my wifi speed is less than 1mbps. Its really unacceptable and we will be returning it for a different system when we have time.

    An expensive paper weight I do not recommend

    I'll start with I trusted Netgear products for some time. This one however is the worst tech purchase I've made. It worked for a week or so and started dropping the satellites. I have been working with tech support for nearly 3 weeks and yet my problem still exists. The satellites were replaced and they were faulty as well. I've uploaded, downloaded, rebooted, reset and everything else I was asked to do. Still no resolution. I'm not on Netgear's payroll but as much time and work that I've put in I should be! They are slow to respond and clearly reluctant to replace. At this point I have an expensive paper weight. I do not recommend this especially based on the lack of support and unwillingness to fix what is apparently a product issue. They just run you in circles doing the same things over and over knowing they don't work. This is unacceptable

    Don’t buy.

    Worked great the first day. After that I woke up to both my satellites disconnected. Spent an hour trying to fix and had to factory reset it. Then comes consistent drops in wifi every 5-10 minutes. Rebooted worked for another 2 hours and then happened again. Got fed up and went back and exchanged for a google nest wifi system that works so much better. Netgear used to be great but lately their products have gone downhill. Also, this system causes signal interference if you’re using a sound bar with a wireless sub/rear speakers.

    This system didn't wok well for me . The wifi was very week and lost connection a lot. I took it back and treaded it for a google nest wifi stem, the Googler system works like a champ and it is super easy to set up.

    This is one of the worst pieces of gear I've ever purchased. After having a DOA satellite, Netgear would not replace the single unit, asking me to go back to Best Buy and replace the entire system. After doing so, I've had nothing but issues with poor memory management, having to reset the system every 2-days to clear the memory and get my internet speeds back up. Because of the exchange, I can no longer return this item and I've gone back to using my previous Google Wifi mesh setup.

    Great product once it was setup. Had to get tech support from Netgear to get it operational with T-Mobile Gateway. Setup sas not straight forward as outlined in provided instructions.

    I had the eero system and tried this out but every night my speeds would drop to 2mbps and i would have to reboot the system. Spoke to netgear for days and never resolved the issue so i returned it.

    This product sucks. It disconnects randomly from the internet at least once a month. When I call tech support their solution is to reset and re-establish my entire network.

    I was really hoping to not get bit by the typical Netgear power supply bug, but I did. So, when the unit was working, it worked great. Very fast connections throughout the house and even the garage. I liked that I was able to still hardwire my main tower in my home office as well as my DIY NAS tower in my garage. I didn't really do anything that was data transfer intensive enough that I noticed any issues streaming files from the NAS to any other device in the house. But as soon as the warranty period was over, the main router unit became unresponsive and the satellite in the garage connected to my NAS was dead.

    Worked great extending the home's WiFi, but after a few months, after the return/warrantee window closed one of the satellites no longer functions even after trying all the suggestions from Netgear.

    Look for a different product

    I cannot recommend this product. I purchased this product to replace an Asus setup I had because the main router was beginning to fail. It seemed to work ok at first but I began to notice significant problems with throughput. I have a gigabit connection and anything on a wired connection is fine but wireless is a completely different story. I can experience anything from 2MB to 300MB depending on how recently I have reset all of the Netgear devices which has become part of my morning routine before I log in for work. I also have all of the devices connected to the main router with a wire so this is not an issue with a wireless signal between devices. I would recommend looking into other devices from other manufacturers and purchasing one of those other solutions and avoiding this one completely.

    Good range and easy setup, but doesn't work with Google chromecast, which is a major no no. I switched to a Amazon fire stick which does seem to work However.

    No hassle mesh system

    I've used the AX1800 and decided to upgrade to this. This system is by far the easiest mesh system to configure. I have tried plenty of other brands as well as the Orbi but this nighthawk system is as easy as power on and connect the modem and start surfing.
