Customers enjoy the Nighthawk AX4 router's ease of use, range, and performance, with many praising its strong signal and broad coverage. However, some users experienced challenges with the setup process and reported issues with the app and occasional connection problems. Positive feedback frequently highlighted the router's improved range and speed compared to previous models. The Wi-Fi 6 capabilities were also a selling point for some customers looking to future-proof their network.

Had a cheap wireless router to start with and wanted to upgrade to this one. It's an ok router but eventually ended up not living up to my expectations rather quick. so i went with a different brand, the amplifi HD that I've got instead I like a whole lot better. the amplifi is a bit more expensive It's worth every penny !

set up took numerous tries to complete, the Android app failing most often. Set up was easier using the webinar face from a network cable computer, rather than using the phone app. had to factory reset it more than once, and open a support case because it would not save any settings. Once it was finally set up and working, it requires a reboot every 6 to 7 hours or all connected clients have no wifi. and rebooting takes 10 minutes minimum, it's not a quick reboot at all. This thing is so drunk, I wake up every morning and every device I have is disconnected from the network, with a Wi-Fi error. Google Pixel, Surface Book, iPad, nest, everything just disconnects from this Wi-Fi router if it is left on for more than 5 to 6 hours.

Solid choice for a router. It didn’t take me very long (maybe 20 minutes) to set up my wireless network on this router. However I did not love that the 5GHz network is not as fast as the 2.4Ghz network from the same distance (about 10 ft from the router).

I got this for my parents who live in a house that is terrible for anything wireless. After trying several products, they finally have Wi-Fi signal throughout their home. While their demand for Wi-Fi is low (laptop, TV, and cell over Wi-Fi boost), this met their needs and fixed a very frustrating problem for them.

Overall a great router. Only issue I have is that I have to keep turning it off and back on daily. The WiFi or internet seems to turn off at least once per day. I need to call Netgear Support to see if they can help with the issue.

I got this to replace an older Netgear router (so I could move that one downstairs for better coverage). Think I've only had to reboot it twice in a year (pretty good for a router) every other issue can be blamed on spectrum.
