This was a replacement for a three year old netgear router that developed intermittent connection problems. I decided to give this one a try and liked how easily I was able to set this router. I also like the additional range and speed this one provided.

A great device. Way faster than my old net gear and setup was super quick. I can now stream anywhere inside my house with very little speed drop off. Amazing highly recommend.

This is extremely easy to set up. Multiple forms of protection makes me feel like my internal is secure. Strong signal.

NetGear keeps improving their nighthawk line of routers. Super easy to set up if you're a beginner but also has the advanced features if you want to customize your settings. I was annoyed by having to down load the app but quickly came to appreciate it instead of having to http into the router. Great coverage and signal strength.

Like the technology. Seems faster with multiple users. Fairly easy to set up. A lot of options for extra services with the dashboard. But can’t get the dashboard to connect with the router and cannot make changes. But the program is still running in the background. The antennas are flimsy and one has already gone limp. But don’t know how important they are. Went with a lower model with the A6 technology and works well with 8+ users. Don’t think I would have needed the next model up at a higher price. Happy with the purchase. Will see how long it lasts

I had been using the router provided when my CenturyLink Internet was installed. I’ve had to call out tech-support multiple times I’m constantly doing speed tests, and then one of my neighbors recommended this net gear router. I ordered it for pick up right away at Best Buy it was ready first thing that day. I installed it which was super Duper easy even for a person who is not extremely tech oriented and my Internet experience at home immediately improved! This is just what I needed for my home. I had a mesh system but that did not do the trick. I needed a dual band Wi-Fi Router. This was so easy to set up and covers my house flawlessly. A must by for your home. No issues with anything that needs wifi.

Easy to install. Great range. Allows great integration with other devices. Came with extra security protection.

Reading the reviews tried to do the setup manually but then gave up and followed the recommended process of doing through the app. Setup was then a breeze and faced no issues as what was written in other reviews. Overall great experience with bandwidth upto 470 Mbs on Xfinity. It covers my house which is 2500 sq ft though there are corners where signal might be lower but not that something which is an issue. Have around 12 devices connected to this and still no issues.

OMG. Thought all routers were about the same, Well Well worth the cost. Depending on what's going on there will be at least 6 computers and 2 TV's pulling on it. The old router while good used to have lag time when loading videos or streaming tv. This one under max load we can muster no big deal. Also the range is so so much better. Was considering updating my modem speed no need after getting this unit

Replaced another Netgear Router that quit working. This one was easy to set up. Runs well. Going around and resetting the item users of this connection was a bummer. But now those units have a better password. Now to see how long it keeps working.

I was needing to upgrade from the router my ISP provided because it just couldn’t quite handle the larger amount of devices in my home these days, as well as being too slow. I bought the Nighthawk and although I felt like it was more expensive than I expected they’d be, it’s proven worth every penny. My internet speed has nearly doubled, it never drops out or lags anymore, and I can have all my 12 or so home devices connected at once without strain. 5/5 Great buy

Amazing product, brought it down to an University down in Mexico, we connected 100 devices with MAC restrictions and after that we lifted that and are hosting around 200 students (not at the same time) maybe 30 at a time, works great

Works great, easy install. A bit pricey, but worth it. Range appears good, performance seems very good. Running Sonos set thru it.

I currently have poor internet and the company I use requires us to use there router if your direct connected you get maybe 10mbs on Wi-Fi you lucky to get 2mbs. I used the night hawk to bridge of current router and it’s night and day Wi-Fi is now all over the house 2800 square foot and pulling 10-12 on Wi-Fi and about 15 on lan. Still not the best internet but the nighthawk makes it more manageable best investment.

This router works great with fast speeds, great security, and is easy to manage.

It’s ok. The interface is decent, easy to use, you can factory reset it if you mess it up. lol. I do find that the it struggles some times but I think that might be more of an issue with the ISP not the router. I do have 2 NETGEAR 8port smart switches so most of my stuff is hard wired. I do have around 20 devices or more connected to it and at least 7-10 of them going at once. As long as I am not having issues with the ISP the router seems to handle everything I have thrown at it without issue. The subscriptions for things like the parental controls should be 90% cheaper and the ability to manage everything should be allowed without subscriptions. So if I want to pause an individual device. I like to be able to pause devices, but having the ability to be able to go into the tables and see what data, sites, time of usage, and etc would be nice. Maybe you can do that without the subscription and I just have not played with it enough. Having the subscription at a cheaper rate so parents that do not have any technical training could utilize it would be a huge selling feature. I do not remember if it has VPN abilities but I do not think it does. It’s been a while since I have got into the interface on my computer. When I have got onto the interface it has mostly and most recently Ben via the app on my phone which is helpful and nice. Especially the ability to access it away from my network.

Very strong signal and simple set up!!! Also provides great range throughout the house and garage.
