Fast and efficient router would but an updated version next time around

Setup is extremely easy. It has great range, and works well with other netgear items. The app nighthawk app works well if you don't want to use a browser to go through the settings. It also allows you to monitor activity when away from your network using the app.

This router is awesome extends the entire house up and downstairs also it conducts security scans to confirm all connected devices are not a threat to the system. Will lock that device out if it has been compromised. Highly recommended. Extremely fast.

Bought this to upgrade my old version. And so far its been flawless. Definitely has beter range and does not drop wifi.

So far this has been a great router that I purchased and I hope it lasts longer than the previous Nighthawk. I only had it two years and the thing totally lost it's mind and and all my settings. I know these routers are usually pretty reliable so I took another chance. So far it's very solid and keeping up with our streaming demands. We are easily getting the maximum of our ISP plan of 400mbps down over ethernet and WiFi (5G) bands. I would recommend this router at this price for the features and reliability.

very easy to set up . previous router stopped connecting to Ring Doorbell system. this router connected to Ring very quickly with no issues

I've had this now for a year and a half. I covers my house with 2 floors except for the very edges. Good for a small residence

I'm giving the 5 stars for Best Buy service, but I am not happy with NETGEAR. Purchased the router for the extended WIFI range and guest network option over my current router. The new router wouldn't complete the setup and failed at the firmware update. I bypassed that only to find my speed was very degraded to the point it wouldn't load a simple web page. I contacted NETGEAR tech support three times and they all had the same scripted responses even with my input and provided no resolution. They wouldn't consider the router was DOA and said it was my ISP. I plugged my old router back in and was back up to speed. I contacted Best Buy and initiated a return as defective. My refund was processed within 7 days. Thanks Best Buy

I bought this for a friends house due to i had an older version and absolutely like it. The assembly and setup is real quick and easy. The range is by far the best for a medium sized home.

This is a great router that reaches all parts of my house and gives me max speed from my provider. And, it was for a great price.

Needed a refresh. With people gaming and others binge watching Netflix my previous router gave up the ghost. I purchased a Netgear again because they seem to last longer than other brands. The speed improvement was very notable once it was installed also. So now everyone is “ Happy again” and we can go back to 24/7 gaming and binge watching murder shows on Netflix €:-)

I needed a router with good distance since my room is upstairs and i work from home so the speed was really need to keep up with my work computer. I had the spectrum router and that just wasn't cutting it. i even had a extender and it wasn't enough. Bought the Netgear and HUGE difference in speed and distance. very happy with this so far.
