REALLY FAST ROUTER. Extremely Fast! I run at 500 mbps, my direct connect gets those same speeds and our three cell phones, two ipads, one laptop all get between 250 - 300mbps. When NetFlix is on or someone is playing Oculus, the Wifi speeds for those same devices never went down below 200. We are very satisfied with the speeds. As for installation, the Nighthawk app is very slow to work with. Please make sure to appropriate at least 2 hours of your time to figure it out. Due to the complex installation process, I rate it only 3 stars.

Only been using the router for a couple of weeks because it was a Christmas gift but it has worked well so far and the setup was fairly easy using the Nighthawk app.

LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN CONTROL ALL MY CONNECTED ITEMS FROM APP AND IT INCREASED MY INTERNET SPEED AND SINGLE NO MORE BUFFERING

I replaced an older wi-fi with this one. Wow what a difference, much better signal and for someone like myself that’s not computer savvy, it was the easiest setup I’ve ever done. I like it.

Easy to setup. Had to use my browser to set up . Netgear Nighthawk would not work for some unknown reason. Other than that nice router for a medium size house. Signal penitrates walls and floors easily.

Decided to get a separate router and modem for the first time, instead of renting a combined unit from the internet service provider. This has worked great for an apartment with many roommates and devices.

awesome router, remote control great. I love this router, because of Bitdefender, ip DDoS control & other feature. wifi 6 is great with various huge data transfers.

I was having issues with my wifi and made this purchase and fixed everything, definitely a great product but a high price tag , if money is no object i will definitely recommend

Very easy setup, the app works well from phone also. One item I do really like is that the app shows all devices that are connected. This is helpful for security reasons.

Excellent router for our home which is not an open floor plan. Tried others and non of them worked. Definitely worth paying for the Netgear!

Did exactly what I bought it for; even at the higher price point it is totally worth it. Very fast wifi speeds; I get all of what I pay my ISP for. Netgear app is also very convenient.

This router is crazy I’ve never had one of this caliber it definitely will get the job done plenty of tech inside it

The coverage this router provides is amazing. I was hesitant that it could back up its claims, but it not only met my expectations, it exceeded them.

Did research on what routers to get and came upon this netgear. I am very proud of my purchase. Yes it is not cheap however it works perfectly on my setup. It was an upgrade from my aging gateway.

Upgrade my internet to 400mbps and this works really well for some reason I had a netgear nighthawk ac1750 and it only gave me 250mbps but soon I got this ax5400 I’m at 458mbps so I’m happy

Always like a solid Nighthawk product, my only quarrel is that for some reason in the nighthawk app you can't see which channel a devise is connected to (either 2.4 or 5 ghz). Previous routers would separate the channels and show which devices are connected to it. Also, while it shows a device is connected, like a smartphone, there is a secondary connection that shows up that says DEV-xx-xxx something or other. If you disable this, then internet will be disabled for the device even though the device is listed further down the list of connected devices. Otherwise a solid Netgear product.

Easy setup. Fast networking speeds but internet connection sometimes stalls. Antenna connectors need to be more beefy. Two of the four on mine flops down no matter how much I tighten.

This is the 3rd time I've added one of these to one of our homes. I have tried a few others and this is the best I've bought so far.

Works Great upgrading from R7000, the range could be better though, and also the nighthawk app sometimes loads sometimes doesn't, but over all no internet drops from having 20+ devices.

I have been totally satisfied with Netgear products and the Nighthawk AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 Router was any different in my confidence of the product! It works perfect!
