Finally a fast WIFI 6 router. I’m getting 450-500mbs on my iPhone. Had eero pro 6 and was constantly losing wifi. Constantly on phone with support. Haven’t touch this router since I’ve received it. There are so many gamin options. I only connect to the fastest servers on COD. No more laggy servers. This thing is amazing

Really the best gaming router ive ever owned. It was expensive, but in this case you do get wat you pay for. If you a gamer yo wont be disapointed. Easy to set up and very easy to adjust the software to your gaming. Wifi range and the amount of electronics working on it is impressive, range is awsome for outside cameras also.

Wifi 6 makes a huge difference. This router replaced a Router setup using an Additional access point; while this covers more area with a stronger and more reliable signal. Duma OS is nice, however, their use of Geo Location on this model lacks in comparison to the NetDuma R2 which is seamless software wise but doesnt have Wifi 6. NetGear needs to test the software more.

Works well, have multiple gamers and power users in the house and it does a great job sorting and prioritizing our traffic. Range is good upstairs and down.

Amazing product! Love it. I recommend this to anyone who wants consistency in their internet speeds and coverage. Excellent for gaming and for streaming needs. Especially now since more people are moving towards streaming only.

The router works great if you buy this with the correct purpose in mind. AX5400 wifi 6 Router and designed with Performace within shorter distances. It doesn't mean you will not get a signal further out, but network throughput is significantly diminished. I am using the AX5400 with NETGEAR Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem and Comcast Gigabit. The Xbox directly connected benchmarks between 820 - 940 Mbps download. Close up; my high-end gaming laptop gets similar speeds via wireless. The setup was easy and had up in the running in minimum time but did need a smartphone to complete the setup. My house is SS 3,000 Square Feet Half Acre Lot, and I have yet to find a complete dead spot. If you are looking to get full speeds at longer distances, this might not be the hardware for you. You would have better luck with a mesh network and something with triband, so the intercommunication between hubs doesn't hog up any of your LAN bandwidth. Most of this mesh have wifi 6, so you will pay a hefty price to get rolling. Whenever I have called NETGEAR for any support, I had success answer any questions I had, and they seemed knowledgeable to a degree. I would not ask them about compatibility between device brands, but I generally suggest using the modem, switches, and routers from the same company.

I installed it from factory about three times and I think the best way to setup is through a browser. The nighthawk app to me seems to slow it down and make it buggy. I also didn't install armor security the last setup and it seems to run more smoothly. The way it works is It reducess your bandwidth and prioritises gaming (or whatever you want to). You're still getting the bandwidth from your provider though. It reduces the bandwidth and controls the flow of traffic so there isn't bottlenecks outside your house. It has an auto setup to calculate this. It's helpful if you have some knowledge of networking for this. So far I haven't noticed any lag. No buffer circles in the middle of my tv screen.

Great router. I have no connection issues in any of the available frequencies. WiFi 6 is available which is the main reason I replaced my old router.

Returned the Orbi 860 I purchased for the Nighthawk AX5400 Wi-Fi 6 Router White. So glad I did! Set up was easy, connected to all devices right away, and gamers are happy!

Outstanding gaming router. Great software interface. Included Bitdefender security for other devices. A bit on the pricy side but worth it.

Router reaches my whole 1300 Sqft colonial house and then some. I live on 0.22 acres of land and can always reach the router at least have 4 to 5 bars of commectivity

The netgear Nighthawk is amazing. My service does not buffer and also the strength throughout my house is great. I would recommend it to anyone.
