Best router I've owned

Returning it today!

Going back to the store that doesn't even happened with my Spectrum router

Expensive and Terrible

Massive connection issues, massive cost, massive waste of money. 2.4ghz drops connections regularly, so I have to manually switch over to 5GHZ and vice versa, about 4 times a day. Terrible traffic management, terrible throughput of data. TECH support from manufacturer was not helpful, when I called to speak with them they sounded irritated to be discussing these problems with me and ultimately failed to help resolve issues. I am not a tech guru, but not tech illiterate either, I purchased this router due to previous successes with other netgear systems. Also - purchased this before COVID-19 lockdowns and stores were closed, now that stores are open the return period has expired so I am stuck with this expensive paperweight. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

HATED THIS ROUTER

I owned an X10 prior, and it was rock solid. Power surge took out several products in our home so we ended up with this. After a month of several troubleshooting sessions, hours spent fighting the stability of the network, adjusting settings, etc. decided to bag it and return it. Spend your money elsewhere. A shame because we love Netgear. Ended up going with Surfboard Max Pro.

Died 10 days after return policy

Had to spend 2 hours on the phone with Netgear support to prove to them it wasn't working to get a RMA number to be able to return it to Netgear. Had to pay 29 dollars for shipping to return to Netgear. I expect more, a whole lot more from a 400 dollar router.

Heaping pile of worthless garbage. Junk!

This thing will reset itself, or just shut off completely. Only way to power it back on is to pick it up and shake it. Never buying Netgear anything ever again. Should have listened to the reviews of others. Avoid this at all costs...and anything Netgear related honestly.
