I tried several routers including the Asus AX11000 ROG and NONE gave me the speed (full gig) and preformance that the RAX120 did! If you can spend $500 on a router then this one will not disappoint!

This router is great the firmware was a problem for 1 year netgear finally updated the firmware on the 8th of september 2022. now its stable and reliable. Firmware Version 1.2.8.40 is what you need.

This router replaced my old Asus 68U and the difference is like night and day. It has the bandwidth and speed to handle anything I can throw at it. Setup was a breeze and so far I have had no problems with it.

I've owned many Netgear routers over the years. This by far has been the best I've owned. It's a little pricey but for the price, you will not have to change or upgrade a long time from now.

I really liked this device but had to return it due to the lack of mesh connectivity. I don't have a large house but for some reason we need to use mesh to have a strong wifi connection through the house. This device offered faster speeds but at closer distances than my current router with mesh.

I set this router up at a restaurant in our small town. All the customers love it. Its so fast and you can have 30 people on it at once. It was very simple to install. I highly recommend it.

We had a Nighthawk 7000 and it reached it limits with supporting the huge number of wireless devices we have in our home. So it was time to upgrade, we searched and search and finally did some comparing. Then we found the Nighthawk AX12 and just wow. It runs everything seamlessly. Meaning, everything stays connected (Amazon cubes, shows, 6 dots and an echo...and 14 wifi lights, 8 switches, gaming systems, Smart TVs, not to mention other phones and PCs and our guests when we have a party ...they all stay on wifi with no slow downs or disconnects...luv'in our new Nighthawk AX12 :)

Updating my WiFi and had this router for a few weeks now. Absolutely awesome!!!! I have full strength in a 2800 sq ft home from any room. Plus in my backyard to the front curb! Amazing so far. Ease setup!

I really enjoy this router. The throughput is very good compared to my previous Nighthawk. Easy to setup, love the app to manage while away. Excellent coverage in 1600+ sq ft house, both levels.

I purchased the RAX120v2 router on April 07 and installed a couple of days later. I experienced network disconnections, LAN side, and started to look at the router. No special settings, nothing special about my home network. Router reboots/initializes at random times. Opened tech support ticket with Netgear who told me to reflash the firmware (using latest and greatest) and several other changes, use Google DNS, change MTU, change WiFi settings, etc., no change at all reboot. Tried different outlet, added external fan if it was heat related, no change. Since I just bought from Best Buy, setup an appointment with the Geek Squad. Had a printout of all the NetGear service recommendations. The Best Buy tech was great, well versed, also asked several questions to help resolve. Opted to replace and suggested the 4yr warranty, which I purchased. The replacement router, same thing, no change, reboots. I plan to keep the router; stubborn I guess and purchased an Asus AX11000 from BestBuy with a 4yr warranty. NetGear Tech support, little help, read through the NetGear forum where others have the same issue with this Router. Maybe just a bad run but hope NetGear acknowledges that there is an issue and maybe I will update with a newer version or firmware when they have a fix.

Nothing special to see here, AX doesn't work with many devices so it has to be turned off in order for laptops to see it, which you would guess would render it not living up to the hype. Although tech support says you don't need it. so who knows. Signal strength is great

Upgraded from an ASUS AC 3200 Tri Band Gigabit Router. The ASUS router constantly dropped packets, signal, and slowed down for no apparent reason causing constant need for reboots. The wifi speeds on the ASUS were also abysmal. Installed the Nighthawk and instantly all of my problems were gone. This thing is blazing fast and extremely easy to set up. The Nighthawk app is awesome as I can now control the router from my smartphone. The app allows you to monitor network traffic, reboot the router, turn wifi on and off with the click of a button and each connected device has a toggle which allows you to block or allow access like a Thanos snap. This thing is expensive, but so far, is the best router I have ever used.

We have 17 devices linked to this router, and it is performing well beyond my expectations. While a little costly, there are no more hourglasses spinning on computers, TV's, tablets, or phones.

Has been working great Have not had. Very long. Would say though that calling the store is impossible tried to call twice to ask a question before buying one was on hold 20 minutes and 18 second day i called still did t pick up

Hands down best upgrade I've done in a while. WiFi 6 allows me to get 900+ Mbps download over a wireless connection. No lag with 30+ WiFi devices connected.

...you would think the companies could provide proper documentation and instructions for set-up and configuration rather than relying on the User Community Forums to answer and resolve issues. Sometimes I wonder if every new product release from Netgear isn't a Beta. However, once all of the issues were solved and questions were answered by other users, this thing has been performing like I had hoped with blazing speed and stable connections (mostly). I say mostly because for some reason my Samsung devices randomly get locked out of WiFi with the devices reporting unable to connect - while all other devices remain on and stable. Rebooting the device does not solve the issue. Re-booting the router returns everything to normal.

This is excellent router and fast wifi speed as WiFi-6. The signal is great for 1400 square feed house. The APP is very user friendly. The router itself is very high quality.

Recently upgraded to 1200 Mbps service from 300. Set up the router and internet was unstable and dropped out a lot. I troubleshooted for about a week only to discover the coaxial cable wasn’t capable of the speeds we should have been getting. As it turns out the center wire wasn’t long enough for the Netgear CM1200 modem I was using. Now that I’m up and running, I’m getting between 1300 and 1400 Mbps down and around 40Mbps up. The router really works great.

Best router i ever bought. 6 months in and it's still a powerhouse. The wired 5gbe works works great connected to my Dell laptop when I used a special ethernet dongle. It's now supplying internet to my new mini 10gbe set up. I have a few computers connecting at 10gbe between each other, with a cat6e cable supplying the internet from the one port on the router. Also my wifi6 products, laptop, phone and tablet all connected and display the tiny 6 next to the wireless icon. More than capable of several work at home clients and VPN.obe this router. Great interface too.

Very fast speeds with good coverage throughout the home. Setup was a little tricky but once complete there's no need to mess with it. Would recommend highly.
