I had issues with an older R8000 nighthawk. This solved them and is faster. Easy setup. No hassle no headache.

The wireless routers category is tough. I like ASUS but had a problem with their routers bricking the firmware after updates. Generally speaking I have had very good luck with netgear routers. I was buying the Netgear 6S exclusively but it appears Netgear has discontinued that unit, it was the best. Let's see if this can live up to the 6S. I had no problem connecting in the basement in a monstrous 3 floor house.

Upgraded internet so needed to upgrade WiFi. Works well the distance I thought reached out further but works well and easy to set up.

I originally purchased this to speed up my already fast 1000 meg ATT internet as I have heard very good reviews and the price is nice for the options this router provides. I did have to return it though but not for the product integrity but because I could not get it to work with the fiber optics I have. I am sure someone said it works with it somehow but I could not figure it out. I may try again in the future; however, I recommend it if you have an ISP that works with this router.

Easy setup. Excellent range and signal strength throughout our home. Well worth the price!

This is a very easy Router to set up and maintain. Has great coverage also. No blank spots in my house.

Kind of spendy but the best Router I've ever had.

Easy to set up. App makes it easy. So far, TV is streaming with no interruptions.

Works great. Easy setup. Doesn't play well with older devices. (5yr+ possibly) Had some 5-7 yr old printers that won't stay connected. No big deal as printers aren't as expensive as they used to be. No issues with multiple streaming devices connected. I average about 12 at any one time with 1-2 streaming videos or gaming. Sometimes more if someone is looking up a video on a phone as well. No issues.

I’ve had several different high priced routers and spite of that coverage was spotty. The Netgear AX6600 WiFi router changed all that. In fact my wife’s iPhone had such poor coverage I was about to buy her a new phone. Well I just saved $1000 with my Netgear router. Now the coverage is solid and consistent. Thank you Netgear!

Not only does it look absolutely awesome... it is absolutely awesome. My old wifi router was on the fritz and is only capableof sub-gig speed... I chose this Wifi router due to the great sucess ive had with Netgear products; that and the desire for faster speeds.. It did not disappoint..! The installation was a snap with the Netgear App, which took all of 15 mins. I was able to set up individual gateways for each member of the family in about 30 minutes.... so all together less than an hour. The app allows me to monitor the wifi network from anywhere, which is convenient and impressive.... The range is more than double of the 4 year old netgear router I replaced... that along with better signal strength makes this router AWESOME.... My only complaint, and has always been a complaint of mine with Netgear is the price.... This aint cheap... set me back several "C Notes" but you pay for quality..... So, Yall better go and get you one, like why are you still reading go go go...

Speeds are great, and everything works as it should. I should mention that the only con was the app setup. I tried to use this first and I was having issues streaming media over my network from my pc to my tvs. Turns out that if you use the app to setup and don't actually log into the router via a browser, it defaults to a secured NAT, which was annoying to figure out. The only way to change to an open NAT was to login via a browser, but once that hurdle was overcome, it was smooth sailing.

Upgraded because my other was outdated and couldn’t update the firmware. This along with my new modem allowed me to finally get the full potential out of my internet service. Very easy to set up and use. Would recommend this to anyone.

Improved speed and range over Spectrums wifi router

Upgraded my old nighthawk router. Still working, just wanted to take advantage of the newer technology and features like VPN compatibility. The new NightHawk even got me more Mbps. I have a ton of devices including a wireless security system. This router handles them like a champ. Really glad that I stuck with Netgear.

We purchased the Nighthawk router for our church. Before we were replacing the frequently. We haven’t had to replace the Nighthawk AX6600 in over a year.
