Easy set up and’s great range and speeds throughout my entire home. Replaced a mesh unit that I was previously using. Multiple streaming without any issues. Kind of overpriced though but it’s ready for Wi-Fi 6E devices like the Samsung S21.

During the pandemic, I purchased the previous gen of Nighthawk router to get us through. That AX8 was a huge upgrade, wired connections were 100mbps, and WiFi was decent…but started to age out dropping some connections erratically, so it was time to upgrade again. This new Nighthawk has HUGELY enhanced my network. All the wired connections max out my 550gbps, so I finally know what gigabit Ethernet can mean. WiFi is now almost the same 550mbps. I don’t need to use QoS now, since all devices are blazing now. So glad I upgraded. The Armor protection gives me peace of mind too since it seems to find the vulnerable IOT devices in my home and gives reasonable if sometimes cryptic names of the connected devices. 3 floor 2500ft^2 home very well covered. No 6GHz devices yet, but feel like I’m ready for those when the inevitable upgrades happen. No regrets!

This router was the culmination of weeks of research, testing, and scouting prices (take it from an expert - you’re not going to find a deal). This is the best router out of all of the 6E routers that are available in terms of speed, coverage, and reliability. However the app needs an expert mode, there are many things I want to adjust but you can’t do it from the app. Even Linksys’ app lets you do some of the things I want to do, and that app is also horribly lacking.

Upgraded from the previous generation RAX80 as the previous model did not have enough coverage for my new home. The AXE11000 has much better coverage and (3500 square ft from 2500) and support for far more devices without a reduction in performance. This would be 5 stars however the process of transferring over my Armor Security subscription required the assistance of their T2 support and a factory reset. The option of enabling smart connect is also missing from the nighthawk app and can only be enabled from within the web portal. You would think that a product line from 2018 would have these bugs ironed out by now. Still a great buy!

Very fast router when connected to 2.5Gb Ethernet! I have at&t fiber for ISP, the Netgear Nighthawk Tri-Band router AXE1100 (RAXE500) It does everything that you need it to, especially wifi 6E, I see speeds up to 1,500mbps on both upload and download. Speeds up to 1,200mbps on 5ghz wifi band. The best features of this router are that you can have link aggregation for bonding of 2 network cables on an attached compatible device. Very nice that even if you don't have 2.5Gb internet service you can chose to modify the routing of the back Ethernet ports. For example you can combine 2 ethernet lines of 1Gb Ethernet and combine then to get "multi-gig" internet speeds if you do not have 2.5Gig speeds by your ISP. Coverage wise: it has a very strong signal on every frequency. I was also able to find my network when I was across the street at my neighbor's party in their backyard, I was very surprised at the length and distance that I was still able to connect. I was going to buy a switch but this was the best option due to all of it's features! I really recommend this router. You get what you pay for! I also had the Nighthawk X10 R9000 which was a beast at the time!

I have read a majority of the reviews on here and was a little worried at first. I will say after installing this device, I was able to see the bottleneck caused by my old router. While it was a great model, I felt with the excessive amount of smart devices in our homes, I needed something with more ability to handle over 25 devices. My main concern was using the 2.4 over 5 and 6 as most of my devices are in that category. I have no issues managing it under Google Home. The set up for this device was a breeze and only took me about 10-15 minutes. Very pricey investment but I am happy with the results.

Security is great with this router Loved the option of getting daily log activity to my email The wi-Fi broadcast range is fantastic. I literally can go a block from my house and still get one bar signal. Highly recommend this router

I bought this router crossing my fingers for good connection with all 26 devices connected to wifi in the house. Everything is connecting at higher speeds than ever before. My iinternet priveders router was not nearly as powerful. The range is amazing. I can have all outdoor cameras, robot vacuum, diffuser, many wifi light bulbs, several alexa dots and be streaming 4k movies on 3 tvs while 2 gammers are playing online! So sick!

Had a x10 R9000 Router, but thought it was time for a upgrade, seeing how I bought that in 2016 the same month it came on the market in my location, the RAX500 it work as they say it to be, flawless, now my problem is that when watching TV to say, the apps cant keep up, I also have a Netgear Nighthawk Modem CM2000, both units are good for over 1Gig Speeds, we have 1Gig speed from Spectrum, and just for possible problems in the future I bought a service plan

Amazing router. Setup was super easy. I love Netgear's clean user interface over some of the other competitor's software. Runs stable and offers reliable connection over the past year that I've owned it. No issues whatsoever. Even during power outages, it's able to get back up and running smoothly. I've tried other routers and they typically would require rebooting regularly. I'm getting perfect coverage in our 1700 sq ft home. No dead zones even on the farthest end of the house. Best router I've owned to date.

Service at Best Buy was excellent when I used the trade in program to purchase my new Netgear router. I did a lot of research on the Nighthawk AXE11000 and purchased it to replace my Nighthawk R8900 router. Very easy to setup and is very fast. Still evaluating the security Armor Bitdefender and it looks like a good product. Netgear has always been the best in networking and support was excellent for my Nighthawk R8900 even though the warranty had expired.

East set up, great range, instantly faster than previous unit!

Love this. my modem is nighthawk 1.2gbit my cables are cat 8(if you have a speed issue, its likely the cable) this router has 2.5gbit modem input + 1gbit modem input. my PC has a 1.2gbit ethernet connection. my internet is 1.2gbit connection OverKill, I know, I just wanted to brag a little. Never had an issue, its beautiful. the wings can flod down. I've got 9 plus devices connected always, and netflix has never buffered. I can see wifi from accross the house. it does run warm to hot, so I got a usb laptop cooler under it, plugged into it, always running, and it's not hot anymore. Love it. it's honestly bigger than the picture seems to show.

The app made this the easiest router I've ever setup. My speeds are awesome, finally getting use of my 1GB internet circuit. The wifi range was not better than my old router but it is the same. Just thought it would reach further also. I like that it is not mesh and has separate 2.4, 5, & 6 ghz ssids. Makes setting up devices easy.

This router has been an excellent upgrade from Nighthawk X8 AC5300. That router had great range, and I needed WiFi to reach my garage. So far the range has been great. AppleTV and my work computer have had blazing fast speeds so far. I will update this review in the near future once I am able to dig into the setting and set some parameters and play around eith this router a bit more

Packed nicely with easy to read instructions. VERY disappointed in the cat 5e cable packed with the router. Yes, I know the specs.....$500+ for a router should include cat 6. I know I'm not pulling 1000TB/s off of my residential fiber, It's the principle. Enough on my feelings. Sets up relatively easy. App is simple and functional. Ready true speeds from ISP with built in Speedtest. I haven't done any peer to peer file transfer tests, but handles circular streaming of 4K without a hiccup.

Easy setup! Fast speeds! Works great! Was going to buy a mesh system but this solved my coverage issues. Love that I can manage wifi through a phone app.
