Small size. Setup was a breeze — I downloaded the package from netgear. Download speed was disappointing, around 225 mbps whereas I was getting 400+ from previous adapter. A magnetic base would’ve been nice. A bit expensive give its speed. Did not experience dropped signals so far

The last time I needed one of these was over 10 years ago so if you’re in need of a reliable wifi adapter that works I highly recommend NETGEAR.

It's at a higher price point than similar items. The adapter is bulky and can easily be kncked into if moving the device it is pluged into. Lastly, it created audio interface.

My experience with this adapter is mediocre at best. On the plus side it has an extension cord enabling best reception placement. Otherwise, in my application it made no difference in performance and the wfi reception rates were always highly varible. The "extending antenna" made no difference in reception speed, regardless of tested 360 degree rotation, several different placements or angle of antenna. Windows 10/11 will not find the correct driver for this device and you must use the included USB flash drive (120Mb) driver installation. On a scale of 10, I rate this a 5, therefore I was disappointed. I am a 20 year network professional.

This was purchased to bypass a broken wifi driver, which it did! However there are some minor security issues where I will need to have a vpn active in order to access certain sites or programs, like Steam, and then turn the vpn off in order to access other sites, like airlines. Minor detail but enough to cause a bit of extra work for the user to figure it out in the first place.

I’m only getting about 850 Mbps connected to my 6ghz network when i was expecting around 1700 mbps like my gaming pc gets with integrated wifi 6e. However, this is still a worthy upgrade for my 7 year old laptop that has wifi 5.

Works good. Works much better with open-source Linux drivers FYI. On Windows some USB ports don't work but on Linux everything works. The Windows driver installer is also annoying and doesn't ship with .inf files

I like the fact I dont need a cable to my computer but, the range is terrible or the connection to the device is bad. I play Call of duty and my connection has been terrible a lot of packet loss dropped connection. Sometimes i turn on my computer the device does not turn on have to disconnect and reconnect a fee times to make it work for the price 3 star really should be 2 for the range
