You're better off burning your money
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Frequent signal drops, poor installation media options, and more netgear bloat than I expected. Whoever designed this thing and ignored the phrase "plug and play" in the USB standard should leave software development permanently. This is significantly more expensive than smaller USB WiFi dongles that more reliably maintain a connection and take up significantly less deskspace.

Works fine until it doesn't, would not recommend.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Second NETGEAR wifi adapter, wasted my money. These things work fine for a bit then have mind-shattering issues with lag. If you can, just buy a PCIe wifi card.

Worthless on Windows 10
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went through the installation process multiple times to ensure I was following the guide that came with it and I still could not connect to my home's wifi. After searching online for help I came to realize this model fails to connect to wifi when it needs to use the 5.0GHz bands. Couple this with the device not being able to use 6.0GHz bands at all on Windows 10, and you have a worthless device. If you are running Windows 11 then maybe it will work just fine for you.

Good except if your on Linux
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this product since it can help provide WIFI to my desktop server that I can’t connect to ethernet. A major downside is that it doesn’t support Linux which sucks since most of my servers are Linux-based, and I tried to get it working, but the solutions didn’t work mainly because of limitations. I was using Linux Mint btw. Overall, good product but please give support to Linux-based distro like Debian/Ubuntu/Linux Mint.

Worked at first… And then became frustrating
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know why, but it seems like most USB Wi-Fi adapters are simply poorly made. I have purchased probably a half dozen of them over the years from $30-$150 and they all pretty much consistently fail sooner or later regardless.

Didn’t work for me
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You asked for my review. It could have been mentioned in the product description (not just buried in the specs ) that this does not work with iOS. Not expecting this issue , I did not try to install it within 15 days, so I can’t even return it.

Expensive Junk!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an older one because it kept dropping connection. This thing just made the problem worse. It can't hold a connection with my router for more than a few seconds. Very frustrating considering this was supposedly the best one they had.
