Great range and fast. Easy to set up. Would recommend to friends and family.

This router increased my speeds dramatically all throughout the house. Two reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars 1. Parental controls, as well as a few other admin options, require a subscription. This is super lame. 2. The range isn't quite where I'd thought it be based on the specs and documentation.

I’ve had my previous router for over 5 years, so I was definitely due for an upgrade with all the new devices I’ve been adding to my home. The NETGEAR Nighthawk has absolutely lived up to my expectations! It provides strong and reliable internet coverage throughout my entire two-story home, easily handling all my electronics that require a connection. The setup was simple, and the performance has been excellent so far. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, high-performance router.

Got this to replace a much older Netgear unit. The setup was significantly easier using the Nighthawk app. Once online which took about 5 minutes I was able to reconnect laptop on ethernet, two cellphones and four smart TV’s seamlessly. Make sure you write down your log on data. Well worth the money and oh yeh crazy fast!!!

I was satisfied with my existing Netgear router even though it was several years old. I upgraded to the Nighthawk AXE7800 for a few additional features and controls that were not available on my existing one. I was not expecting any noticeable speed difference since I have fast, reliable internet and my connected things are all newer. I was pleasantly surprised that it was noticeably faster internet/connected functions on every single thing I use in my home, and this was using the same 2G/5G bands. The built-in features are also more user friendly than my existing router. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence about whether they will notice a difference with this router over one a few years old. One caveat is that even though the 2G range seems better, the 5G range seems the same, but both are still great.

Had a smaller router and wanted to upgrade. Started with a Mesh system and really struggled. Returned that and went back to Netgear and a larger router. Once I was able to get everything disconnected from old router and reconnected to new router, it has worked great. Needed to reset a few times to get everything to connect.

Replaced my 10 year old Netgear N750 that had a shorted power cord. I was disappointed at first, because the mobile app lacked most features my N750 had. After logging into the router via a web browser, I saw it retained all the features of the old one. The signal strength is much better than the old one, i.e., my Roku wi-fi speed went from 18 Mb/s to 185 Mb/s. It works well in my 5600 sq. ft. 3-level house. The built-in malware blocking is a plus to have for Internet-of-Things (IOT) devices. The down side is that some features, such as parental control, you now have to subscribe to and pay extra, where they were included free on my N750.

Amazing speeds and range, for a single unit, and if it's Netgear, I'll trust it. The signup and configuration has become somewhat an ordeal, but "security isn't convenient". I'm a self-employed tech, so I helped my client create a profile and set up everything, but it takes awhile.

Well, it's only been up and running for ten minutes but in my 1700 sq foot house, my gaming PC with an ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus board (wifi 6e compatible) just pulled 470 mpbs down on the 6 Ghz network and I pay for 300 down. With the previous ASUS AX5400 the best I ever saw was around 350 down. Range on 2.4 Ghz seems quite good as well.

Works good three the house and even outside. Streaming 2 consoles and 5 phones and 2 tablets and it works good and fast.

After two generations of Google wifi, we are so glad we went with this. Still going strong, works flawlessly. App is great. My truck picks up the signal 75 yards away from the house!

Love the new router. Super fast speeds. Have players at home that love the new internet speeds it provides. Also the range is great! Especially because we have several levels in our house.

So I had the R7000P and decided to make the change. The old wasn’t broke and I kept as a backup. This one should handle more devices up to 40 across 2.4ghz 5ghz 6ghz. I use my 15pro on 6ghz. I see no major difference on just surfing and streaming or gaming. The benefit I got is more device are able to be connected and balance across the 3 channels mentioned above. I had to turn channel for each to manual selection auto never seems to work right on any router I’ve ever had. I made few tweaks on routerlogin. Everything is fine but was it really worth the $317 tax included. Probably is because we’re so dependent on reliable internet at home.

This router is amazing definite upgrade over my old router. Actually allows me to reach the 1 gig internet that I pay for i probably have 20 to 25 devices on the internet at all times but everything runs flawless.

Easy to setup, works great. I like the information and control available through the app. Has better coverage in my house than the stock Spectrum router.
