DO NOT BUY! Can't handle upload speeds

The router out of the box handled the download speed but upload speed has never seen over 700mbps hardwired. (When i bypass the router and hardwire directly to my PC I'm getting 2.5 gb up and download easily.)The wifi has also never been over 1gb. I purchased this in August and netgear customer service has strung me along ever since. They promised me this is a software issue on their end and that a beta firmware issue would fix it. Fast forward to almost December (and outside the return window) 2 personalized beta firmware updates later and router is performing worse than ever. Definitely got screwed on this one.

Just got for it

It's okay.....

Seems to be somewhat glitchy and the app keeps suggesting mesh extenders when I'm only 10 ft or so away from it. I'm not super experienced with routers, but don't think that is normal.

Consider strength range before purchasing

Although it has faster speed, it has less reach to other corners of my house, which I didn't have this issue with previous model used for 5 years.

The setup was straightforward, and the design is sleek and modern. It has already noticeably improved my network’s performance, and I’m still testing its full capabilities. Looking forward to exploring all the features this device offers!.

Not worth the money!

My 10 yr old Netgear router that died, covered my whole house. This new and "improved" doesn't reach my basement. How does that even make sense?!? This new router is basically a $400.00 disappointment! Very unhappy and frustrated. My security cameras downstairs now don't work 100% of the time!!
