I updated to the netgear router rs 700 because the old rs 700 I bought in 2018 will not accept the firmware updates after January 2026. I am very happy with this purchase as it is very easy to self install and I l like the new app as well. I smaller footprint is a plus but it is taller

Excellent Router. Fastest wireless speeds within 20 feet that I've ever seen. Good range also. My previous NetGear router would drop out randomly in the furthest parts of my house. This router maintains a solid connection and decent speeds. Its pricey, but worth it! Highly recommended.

I have had Sonos for probably 10 years now and it never worked 100%. Anything over 2 rooms at a time would cut out or disconnect altogether. Now I’m playing all 5 zones perfectly. Currently I have over 80 devices running on this router and my Starlink has also gotten noticeably quicker sometimes getting close to 400mps.

Great Router, Fast and Easy Setup, had trouble before with my old router reaching to the back of the house and stable, this one did Amazing. I would definitely recommend this one.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago to replace another Netgear router that was nearing 10 years old and was having problems keeping up. This one is a GAME CHANGER for a house around 2000 SF. It's incredibly easy to set up, about as close to plug and play as it gets, the range and signal strength is fantastic and the app to run all of it is one of the best apps I've ever had to deal with. Netgear knocked it out of the park with this one!

upgraded from old nighthawk. the auto dual band feature is helpfull,BUT. any older devices dont hook up automatically. be prepared to manually hook up things that need the 2.4 speed versus 5.0, such as nest,ring doorbell. aqua link for pools etc. speed much improved. just not that simple.

I’ve had this router setup for about 2 weeks now. It replaced an 8 year older nighthawk router. I’ve noticed very strong signals and no dropping speeds. Currently running over 50 WiFi devices with no issues. They only issue I’ve experienced is the app not connecting to the router all the time.

BEAST! In every way Lightning can't catch this beast of a router. Easy setup and bulletproof future with wi-fi 7 capability. WORTH IT!

The RS700s is a power house. Setup is a breeze. The Nighthawk web portal is easy to figure out and well designed. I have it running my office with several computers and a server and multiple printers all hardwired with 2 unmanaged switches. It has built in setup for things like no-ip.com so you can setup Dynamic DNS super quick and easy. And has built in VPN server using Openvpn. All tested and runs smooth as butter.

I upgraded from the TP-Link BE900 and this has a more sleek look, better range and is way more reliable. I have always prefered nighthawks ober other router's. Glad its Wi-Fi 7 ready so when those devices come out i can take full advantage

Setup was easy for the most part. I didnt realize most of my tech was not ready for wifi 7 but i will be ready wjem it comes. The speed are great and it handles all of my connection with ease as well the sqft coverage is fantastic.

This was an easy install. I also purchased the wall mount which gives me more counter space. All of the devices connected easily to the new router.

It a pain to setup initially, but reliable afterwards.

I always upgrade to every next gen Nighthawk router. This one has by far exceeded my expectations. Super fast with great range. Primary uses gaming & multi-room 4K movie streaming to Apple TV’s

With the recent upgrade in ISP to a 2Gbps fiber connection, the ISP provided router was unable to capitalize on the possible WIFI speeds available. I researched for a week on different routers to look for and NETGEAR has typically always been my go to in the past. This router is on the expensive side but the power it has and ease of use of the features is incredible. Boosted my WIFI speed from 500mbps with the ISP provided router to 1700mbps and allows for much more smooth distribution to all my devices.

I needed to reset my cable company provided router a couple of times each day. IOT devices kept trying to run a higher bandwidth than they could handle. This was very frustrating! My Nighthawk found and automatically configured these devices for the correct bandwidth. I have used it for a week with no need to reset, and I am getting faster Internet speeds on my WiFi devices. Well worth the money. Problem solved.

Not a whole house mesh WIFI, but this NETGEAR Nighthawk BE19000 has plenty of range to cover your medium to large home! Much faster than the cheap garbage internet providers rent and sell to customers.
