    Very powerful but a real bear to install or connect to your devices. Customer service wanted to charge me for the help. Trying to sell me antivirus programs. So uncool.

    I bought this router to replace a old netgear but its definitely goin back. Pulls good speeds but i kept loosing signal and buffering while just watching youtube. The range isnt all that great either maybe for a studio or small 1bd apt

    It’s okay. I had issues connecting to the internet automatically but it eventually works. My connection was more solid using my WiFi 5 gaming router because I didn’t have to reconnect almost every time.

      When experiencing an issue with your connection and needing to reconnect often, we recommend performing a power cycle of your modem as well as router, checking all your cables including ethernet as well as power cables, and consider the placement of your device. We also recommend ensuring your RS100 is on the latest firmware v1.1.1.94, released as recently as 7-7-25 which includes an enhancement for Wi-Fi stability.     Had same problem as RS200 - inconsistent WiFi so I returned it. The RS100 had an improved Nighthawk app however, later Mfg.

    Connection Issues Made This a $140.06 Loss

    This device caused constant internet freezes on our Apple computers, forcing us to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect just to get online. We spent significant time troubleshooting and trying every recommended fix with no improvement. By the time we realized the device was unusable, it was past the return period, costing us $140.06. We replaced it with a TP-Link router and have had no issues since.

    Getting this product delivered via doordash was a nightmare but thats another story. This router is very disappointing. Horrible range disconnects constantly. There is a reason it keeps dropping in price. I had an old nighthawk router i absolutely loved but couldn't update the firmware so got this. I do not recommend at all

    Was told this is the one to go with especially with gamers in the house. The speed wasn’t any different than my current router. It didn’t have the parental controls like I wanted without a monthly subscription!

    Purchased new router. Would power on but never recognized that it was connected to the Internet. But very easy returns process at our local Best buy store.thank you

We're sorry to hear that you had an issue with your RS100 not connecting to the internet and have already returned it. When experiencing an issue where your device may not be recognizing your internet connection, we recommend a few troubleshooting steps including checking the ethernet connection from your RS100 to your modem, performing a full power cycle of your Modem and RS100 and then allowing 5-10 minutes to pass before reconnecting and verifying your Internet service with the Internet Status Light on the RS100 with a Solid Green or White light: https://kb.netgear.com/24244/What-do-the-LEDs-on-my-NETGEAR-router-mean.
