    I had a 10 year old net gear and it was time to replace so I bought another net gear with modem router combination and it solved my connection issues.

    Upgrade to old Nighthawk router. Very easy to set-up. Good signal. Have over 30 devices connected and no issues.

    Terrible is you are using ONT (Fios for example), at the current firmware release this unit struggles with stable connections and speeds. A 1 gig Fios connection is typically same or very close to download and upload speeds. This unit provided the proper download speeds consistently 85% of 1 GB, but uploads forget it, max was 30 mbs out of 1 gbs. Just unacceptable. There are many posts and papers complaining about this to back me up. Maybe when Netgear decides to release a proper firmware this will be a great option but not today.

    The Nighthawk app is annoying. Getting to the GUI for setup much more difficult than it needs to be. Even worse is the constant emails and pushing of getting a subscription to Netgear Armor. The administration of an extender is also lacking. Doesn't have 6Ghz.

    Piece of junk ... would not connect to internet except intermittently. It's supposed to work for a 2500 sq ft home. Mine is 1400 sq ft. won't stay connected. I replaced my modem, and it won't connect through the new one at all. Total waste of money and I should not have been sold a protection plan that is less than useless!

We recommend a few troubleshooting steps when experiencing intermittent connectivity with the internet including checking your cables to ensure they are secure, performing a full power cycle of your modem and RS200 router and connecting a computer directly to your modem to verify internet connection. Additionally, if your ISP modem is a Modem/Router, ensure your Modem/Router is in Bridge Mode to address any potential Double NAT errors.

    The stupid thing ran perfectly and lasted for just a few days past the warranty. Now it is an expensive paperweight. Save your money for a better brand.

    I am not sure about all the positive reviews. The reviews must be bought or something. I have had 3 other routers in the same spot, in the same house, with the exact same devices and my reception in the front room of the house with NO walls in between, and the signal is VERY VERY weak. My house is 2300sf. The reason I bought this router was because it was rated for 2500sf. It did NOT work for me. I would NOT recommend this router. My old routers did not have ANY problems reaching my front room. VERY VERY disappointed in this routers' range. I thought I was upgrading, I downgraded.

    Worst router I've owned. I have owned probably 20 different routers and this one is by far the worst. Setup was ok but once that is complete the rest of the experience is bad. Kept disconnecting. I like to have my wifi bands separate but on this router as soon as you do that you have no wifi. Slower speeds. Just terrible. I returned this one the same day i bought it. I went with an ASUS router and never looked back. Netgear used to be decent but not anymore. They have gone downhill fast. Stay away from this one.

    Very displeased! The router promoted vreater range, speeds and stability. That was not my expierence. My old router performed much better and was more reliable.

    Do not purchase anything from NETGEAR, horrible customer service after the 90 day window. We have had multiple issues with this router and they just keep telling me to reset it. I only have 13 devices connected to it, nothing that demands with traffic. Overpriced paperweight now. Thanks NETGEAR

    In IT for over 15 years & couldn't get it setup, had to return it. Probably just a defective unit but left with a bad taste.
