We upgraded our speed on our internet and our old modem could not handle it so we bought this one. It has ran great with no problems and we have a lot of things connected.

Great speed capabilities. Keeps everything running fast and smooth. Haven't had any problems since hooking it up, along with the nighthawk router.

I had to upgrade to this, but i keep get dns issues which cause me having to flush my dns on a daily basis. When it works it is great and fast and connects to everything i need.

Switch from my surfboard modem to the net gear 3.1 modem and noticed that I get well over my blast rated speed with Comcast lots of devices connected and no lagging when gaming no buffering while streaming movies great modem also future proofed when 1 gig arrives

Worka great. Night hawk application is nice, easy to set up everything. 1gbps and docsis 3.1, future proof for YEARS

I have a 500Mb connection and was receiving speeds close to 500Mb, until my internet provider started doing work within my neighborhood. Not the router's fault, I have complete confidence in the modem, my internet provider not so much. Recommended purchase for the modem, I do not recommend WOW for your internet provider though. Also if you get your own modem, check, check, and recheck your bill because WOW Cable will try to charge you for using one of their modems, even though you own your own modem.

The NETGEAR - 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem works as expected. Easy to set up and has been running without issue since day 1.

We just switched to this router from one provided to us by our provider. This was very easy to set up and noticeable faster. Great purchase.

I traded in my Cox modem because it was acting slow, but once I changed and added the Orbi WIFI system. My WIFI never buffer and the speed is super fast

Cable modems kind of suck as a rule of thumb. And this one still has the problems that all cable modems do. But it works fantastic otherwise (for a cable modem.)

Just what I needed to enable GigE speed from my cable provider. Easy setup and connection with my wireless router was a breeze!

This modem is great for higher speeds for internet! This modem is affordable for a 3.1 easy set up and no head scratchers when it comes to setting it up

Be warned that if you have voice provided in a bundle, you cannot use this modem. Your ISP won't let you just pay for the phone line and not use it. They will require you get a voice modem, and there are limited options. It was almost worth it for me to pay more to have them take the phone line/bundle away. (Crazy right?) I figure the next best thing is around the corner, so I'm renting Comcasts Xfi modem/router for the next year. After that, I'll probably get rid of the voice and just pay the extra to get a modem/router like this. It's lightening fast at my friend's house!

Easy setup. Has worked well since purchased. I have had no problems at all. Prior modem was constantly going out

Excellent cable modem - it was easy to set up and if I ever get fiber, I am ready thanks to the DOCSIS 3.1

The combo modem/router I was renting from Comcast kept having to be reset every other day because it kept dropping the signal. I decided to purchase my own modem to test with my Apple Extreme router (testing first before also buying a new router) I was using in addition to the modem/router. The CM1000 is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem (approved for use with Comcast) and highly recommend based on my online search. This modem is amazing! I now have all wifi bars showing, didn't have to replace my Apple Extreme and the increase is speed is very noticeable (no dropped signals as of to date using multiple devices at once).

I purchased this modem in order to future proof my system. Setup is easy and only took less than 5 minutes. My internet is steady and faster that my previous modem.
