We had an earlier netgear router and had dead spots in our house and when the kids got iPads and iPhones,our speed slowed down to a crawl. With this baby, no more of any of those! The dead spot eliminator went upstairs and we have wifi all over the house now(large 2 story). Even with all the devices, the speed tests are consistently 30%+ faster.

Improved my network. However, my equipment was 10+ years old. Ease of setup is unbeleable. Plug, click and go!

The router is easy to set-up as long as you follow the directions and it gives great Wi-Fi coverage all through the house.

I love love love this router. Easy to setup and never had any problem with wifi connection. A little pricey but I think it's all worth it.

We love our new router. The DST adapter allows us to get better wifi connection in our basement. It is also faster than our old router.

This router has extensive range, even includes a range booster for larger coverages. Great product. Netgear is the best.

Installation and setting up the router was relatively easy. I did it myself without the help of the included Geek Squad support. Good thing too, because when I later came up with an issue for which I needed help, an online chat with a GS rep ended up in only frustration and ZERO help. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to even help me, the rep asked me for information (expected) and then more information.. and more information, followed by long pauses during which I had no idea what was happening. Finally, after 30 minutes waiting, he said he couldn't help me as I wasn't showing up on GS support and asked me to call the GS by phone to figure out why I wasn't showing as having a membership. By then, I was frustrated and disappointed. After taking a bit more time, I managed to figure out my problem myself. Ironically, it took me less than the 45 minutes I spent with GS accomplishing nothing. Bottom line? The router is great, the range extender awesome, but don't just buy it for the GS membership. In retrospect, I should have just purchased it from Amazon.

after 2 prev router buys and returns , found this router with a " adaptor", like a bridge, that solved problems with dead wireles signal at other end of house. Alos get router up off floor, really helps with signal.Set up was very simple and the router page on main computer lets me monitor status of suignal and chance to change channels if find over lapping with neighbors

I wanted this so that I could get wireless reception on my tablet when I walked more than just a few feet from the router that the cable company installed in my home. I would walk from one room to another in my home and lose the connection with the internet ; the cable company suggested for me to buy a stronger router and see if this fixed my problem instead of them installing one themselves. Well, IT worked and now I own this router AND THE CABLE COMPANY SAID IT IS THE BEST OUT THERE. CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT.

I want to start off by saying that I've installed several routers in my life and this was by far the easiest install ever. It literally took me less than 15 minutes to setup this router & the DST (dead spot terminator). I love the genie app that is available to manage the network. I wish I would have bought this router sooner.

My four star rating and "Buyer Beware!!!" title might seem contradictory, but please read on. Although I am thoroughly pleased with this router and range extender, when I opened up the package there was no range extender inside. I went to my local Best Buy and they kindly exchanged the item. Smartly, I opened the new one prior to leaving the store only to find this box had no range extender in it either. The employee pulled a single range extender off the shelf and gave it to me to resolve the issue. But beware when purchasing and make sure everything is included. Once it was set up, I almost did not need the range extenders. This router is POWERFUL and reliable. It has yet to go down like my previous router did. The only reason I did not give it a five star rating was due to it's limits when using a battery backup. I have my router attached to an APC battery backup in case of power failures, however the range extenders utilize power lines to communicate with the main router. The speeds are greatly limited due to the power line running through the battery back up. Although this is something I was aware of before purchasing, it seems like an issue that Netgear would resolve as battery backup systems become more common and cheaper to own.

Its a very good product for an honest price. I would recommend to a friend who needed one.

We purchased a new touch screen pc to replace the heap running Vista and a Cisco we've had for 7 years and was having trouble with internet connection to tv as well as with Belkan USB hub. We also purchased a "sleep activity monitor" since our son has seizures. We hoped the new router would fix the tv and hub issue and manage the new monitor. The booster is needed to stop the monitor from dropping out in the middle of the night. The USB ports allow for 1 printer and 1 Ext. Hard drive that eliminated the 5 port hub that didn't work with the new pc.

This router is such an improvement over the old one. I use wireless for my laptop, phone and tablet. Before I only got one bar of service even in my living room, which isn't that far from the router but now I get 5 bars on all my devices even in the bedroom. It's also much faster. I am very, very pleased with this upgrade.

Setup was much easier than I had thought. I never had to contact Geek Squad for help, and it works great. Range is outstanding.

I bought this to replace my old modem and range extender. This beats it by 1000%. 3000 ft square foot home with no deadspots.

We had a place in our home where wireless signal was very weak. Now it is very strong there. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this to replace a Netgear that finally died. It was on a surge protector guess its age finally caught up with it. This new router works great. Good coverage for the house. We have eight devices that use it including a smart TV where we stream Netflix. Setup was easy. Just follow the directions...every step.

This router was easy to setup and has excellent range and speed.
