Reaches much further with extender. No more issues with far corners of larger home. Very happy, would buy again.

Instead of using the cable company's wifi I bought this router. I also needed the extender to get the parts of my house that the main one would not reach. I used to have AT&T for Internet and was terrible. Happy I switched.

Excellent router, great coverage for about a 2700 square foot home with the router centrally located. Good parental controls. Highly recommend this router for small/medium sized homes.

Product works great. We had real difficulty with wifi in our home before installing this item. Now we can get service in all rooms. Geek squad help was invaluable with trouble shooting install. Great buy.

I replaced my existing Asus router with this new Netgear Nighthawk. Set up was very easy, EXCEPT the router wouldn't recognize the Dead Spot Terminator (DST). I still haven't installed the DST, but I've noticed a stronger signal with the Netgear so maybe I really don't need it. My only concern to this point is that my work laptop occasionally drops off the internet (like once per day), but I think that might be a VPN issue. I have noticed faster download speeds so I'm happy with this purchase.

I no longer have any dead spots in my 2400 square foot house. This thing is amazing! Super easy to setup as well.

Finally got tired of leasing Comcast modem/router so I bought the Nighthawk. Speed increased and the DST makes sure we have wireless in the bedroom.

I had been running into a lot of wifi drops in my house, due to the main internet connection being upstairs in a corner bedroom. With the Nighthawk DST I now have a strong dual band signal upstairs as well as downstairs thanks to the DST Adapter. If you have a large home with dark wifi spots, or find you disconnect often, this is the wireless router for you. It costs a lot more than the run of the mill entry level routers, but it is WELL worth the investment.

Bought this netgear night hawk, because my internet is too slow and my daughter keep complaining to me that our wifi can't reach her room. Now she was so happy that she has 4 bar!!

Over the years I have had nothing but problems with Cableone's modem. I got an ASUS range extender about a year ago but it just quit. When I asked the clerk what he suggested when I told him the issues I had with Cableone's modem he recommended the NETGEAR - Nighthawk DST AC1900 range extender along with the ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. A month later I have had NO issues . ... NONE! I would highly recommend these products.

Far better than my last router and covers near 4000 sq ft with no dead zones. Good improvement on speeds.

Works as advertised. I bought it because my laptop kept getting dropped when others were using a lot of bandwidth. The unit is LARGE though, so need extra space to set up. Sticks up with the antennas too. I cleared a spot on the shelf above where my parent computer is stationed. Was easy to set up, just a couple of cords and about 10 minutes of point and click. Setup was mostly automatic. So far, has worked as expected. I would recommend.

Replaced older model net gear router. This one is much faster and works great for streaming music or video.

My ranch style house seems to cobble up WiFi transmissions. I put the router at one end, and the extender at the other end. Great improvement.
