Recommended by my Geek Squad agent, this has eliminated buffering issue on my somewhat elderly smart tv and has improved WiFi speed for all my related appliances.

Wifi is shared throughout my 2 story home for gaming and for educational use. I found that the regular rented net gear device provided by our local ISP was having issues with signal into some of the back bedrooms on the second floor. In addition speeds were slow and gaming on the ps4 or xbox 1 could lag, especially if apple tv was in use. The Nighthawk has improved signal strength for anywhere within the home and has decreased incidences of lag.

The nighthawk dst gives updated speed for my new computer and extended range for our tablets and phones.

Easy set up. The included range extender solved the upstairs dead spot issues. I would recommend it.

I have to say, that Best Buy did a solid with this bundle. The price was the same as just the router by itself, but this one came with a dead zone adapter. The adapter is awesome, because it enables you to also plug something into it, so if the computer in your kids room is not wifi enabled, then you plug this thing into the wall, it connects to the router and then you plug a standard LAN cable into the adapter, and boom it is connected.

Seemed to be pretty much plug and play. It has made a big difference in speed and reliability so far.

Pro: My router and modem is in my office but my tv is down the hall in the den. I was not able to stream my Amazon movies or upload Direct TV movies. With the Nighthawk router and adapter i am now able to do both. Con: I'm semi knowledgable with computers but I still needed the Geek Squad to come to my house and do the setup. My router came with the home set up but most routers at Best Buy does not include it. It cost appx. $100

Now this night hawk router/extension connector is a pain to connect took a lot of time over phone to connect thru my computer although took 4hrs to complete this is the Best product I bought so Far loads quick/on multiple devices at same time" even thru busyest hrs in evening I recommend this product only if u have laptop or Geek squad assistants

Software configuration was mostly automated. Just required a few tweaks to security, Wi-Fi networks and parental controls. DSP adapter, also easy to connect, took a bit more to configure; specifically changing the default password. Performance has been mostly pretty solid. Though at times I've noticed that 2.4 GHz channel stops working. However, not ready to blame the router as it seems my ISP has been experiencing tech issues.
