An exceptionally strong wifi unit that also came with an extender. Coverage through out my house is 100% and Very Strong; never miss a beat. Was easy to setup, program, etc. Has all the whistles and bells.

Great for extending wifi range in my house and back yard. Been using it for 3 months without any problems. Good signal strength and no drop offs. I would recommend this to anyone with wifi range problems.

Covers my home and into detached garage. Cost a bit more than old router (also Netgear) but seems worth it due to improved signal. Did not use the included extender, didn't need it. Geek squad installed.

Our devices run much faster now. It was very easy to set-up. It only took a couple of minutes. It has allowed my family to use multiple devices at the same time.

We have a large home with many tv's and devices that require wireless internet connections and we were having so many signal problems with the modem/router combo supplied to us by our cable service provider. We couldn't watch Netflix, or easily surf the web on our computers, phones and tablets because the connectivity would drop or slow close to a halt. The service tech recommended this Wi-Fi router to us and we've been happy with it since we set it up at the beginning of the year. Strong, secure signal that reaches out to our cars parked along the curb, so we have a smooth connection throughout our multi- level home without needing the signal booster that came with the router. Very happy this solved our issues with a stable connection throughout our home with several devices on the network at once!

This is a great router. It was easy to set up, and I had all our devices connected in just a few minutes. The biggest surprise is how fast everything loads: our laptops, tablets, and cell phones are amazingly fast. I hadn't realized how slow our old router was until I got this one! Plus, the DST adapter lets us use all our devices easily out on our porch or at the end of our dock on our boat, which we could never do before. Now that I know how fast our download speed can be, I'm going to have to buy a second router just like this for our other home!

I replaced an older netgear wireless router with this one. Our wireless works better now. We had a back bedroom that the wireless didn't reach, but using the adapter which is included with this package, we can now get wireless in that bedroom. It's not an excellent signal, but better than no signal. The disadvantage with this unit is it's rather large and takes up real estate on the top of the file cabinet where the old one stood horizontally and was much more slender.

Have been looking at this for a while unable to pull the trigger on the purchase then decided to go ahead with it. Glad I did. Got it home, and the set up was easy. No need to call for help as the instructions were spot on. The Netgear Genie made getting everything connected a breeze and now streaming is Sooooo much better. All my devices are running faster than I thought they could. Thanks Netgear and Best Buy.

Our previous routers constantly stopped signal and/or had a weak signal in certain parts of the house. I have a great signal no matter where I am. Setup was easy. It took longer to change the settings on all of our devices then to actually set up the router. The only drawbacks are that it's huge and takes up a ton of space, as well as the range extender constantly shows interference/weak signal no matter where in the house it's located. It works, it's just strange. Other than that, it's great. Everything finally runs the way it always should!

I have been told by my cable company that purchasing a different modem or router wouldn't do much to help our weak wifi signal in our house, so I was a bit skeptical about purchasing this one. We have a two story, 3000 sq ft home and we have decent signal strength downstairs but upstairs was hit and miss depending on the number of devices in use. Once we hooked this router up with the extender we got good signal throughout the entire house and even in the garage. We are very happy with the Netgear Nighthawk with extender. We still have some issue with signal when we have guests over and there are multiple devices but for the most part on the day to day signal is very good.

I had no problems with the router but couldn’t get the extender to work (outside of the room where the router was) even with the on site Geek Squad technician’s help. However this router had better coverage than my old cable modem/router so I really didn’t need the extender. Really like some of the features especially the Access Contol List and the dynamic network maps. Just thought it was bit of wasted money since I could only get the extender to work in the same room as the router (what’s the point of if?!). The only other issue I have is the “genie” software. The app is ok but it takes up 13-15% cpu cycles all the time. I end up killing it with no noticeable side effects and I can restart it as needed. I’d recommend the router but not getting the extender that comes with it.

The Netgear Nighthawk DST AC1900 wireless router with included DST Adapter (Dead Spot Terminator) was easy to install and configure and immediately took care of the WiFi problems I was experiencing with a streaming device which was located on another floor. Streaming is now seamless and was a whiz to set up. User interface is loaded with options and is easy to use. 1-year Geek Squad set-up and support is included in price but set up was so easy, I did not need to call to get it up and running.

Life on the Web has been totally different since purchasing this product! No interruptions in service with multiple people on WiFi and super fast speeds with no buffering. A must buy if u need this product

Was a good upgrade over my previous WNDR4300 router. Signal is strong and super fast when reasonably close or on same floor level as the router. Will definitely rely on the extender to help on the other floors though.

Excellent range. Extender works to eliminate dead spot in far end of house. Read set up instructions carefully. This unit replaced a 4 year old router and was a vast improvement.

I am very happy with this purchase. The router is exceptionally powerful, consistent, and meets my needs. The dead spot terminator is great, too, although I use it to boost the signal around the a/v setup in my apartment, so I can't speak to how well it works in a house, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't one of the best options for extending your home network.

Fast downloads, great coverage, spotty coverage in the main living area is no longer a problem. DST awesome for my daughter who previously had no reception in the basement and now stream Netflix constantly. The only problem we had was on installation, but that was simply because our modem was so old it couldn't handle this newer technology.

We have struggled for years with our Comcast internet connections--with repeated service calls. We finally decided to spend the extra money and buy the more expensive Netgear Nighthawk. WOW! So wish we had gotten this sooner---no more whining from my son about the lousy speed of the internet while he plays video games! Have not had any issues since we installed it---DEFINITELY worth the money!!!

the signal easily reaches all corners of my home (4235 sq. ft.), fairly easy to set up, I couldn't be happier

We have Comcast in our home and it was not working well. Went to Best Buy, told them the issue and asked for their recommendation. I had the Geek Squad come to my home, install it, and they made sure this product worked. It did! We now have the best internet connection and speed we have ever had in our home. The Comcast rep had no confidence that their equipment would work, but Best Buy did. This product works better than I could have imagined.
