This is the best wireless WIFI router available at this time (IMHO). I had a very good router installed in my home and a secondary powerful AP (Access Point) that covers several acres of land. I can get a WIFI connection in some directions almost 500 yards away from my home. I removed that primary router (ASUS) and installed this one and then I took signal strength readings on the 2.4 GHz band at varying distances within my home and on different floors. The results show that on longer distances this router's WIFI signal strength is more than 10 times stronger than the one I removed.

I purchased this system as an upgrade to the one my cable provider issued. It gave me the expanded coverage I needed. I didn't realize that the adapter was a plug in that uses your home's electrical to connect back to he main router. I had to, and it recommends plugging both devices straight into the wall and not though a surge protector. I guess it blocks the signal.

I researched a bunch of different routers, and chose to go with this one because of the reviews I had read about it, the features, and the fact that it was on sale. We have a large house with 5 smart tvs and 3 kids, 2 adults that are always using the wifi so we needed something that could support us all, so far it has been working great.

Awesome router. It's a huge upgrade and is easy to set up.

Good product and semi-easy to install. I just needed additional help on parental controls and setting up guest network.

I've gone through 3 other routers before this one. I've also changed my internet speed thinking that was the reason for my wifi not reaching some places in my home. Nighthawk is by far the best. I have a 2500sq ft home and don't have any dead spots anywhere. It even reaches to my front neighbors house. The adapter also works great.

The package comes with a range extender which works very well on our second floor. It is exclusive to Best Buy and worth the money!

This was exactly what I was looking for, although according to actual speed numbers it's lower than my previous router it still manages to be considerably faster and with the DST (dead spot terminator) which basically is a small plug in extension that increases your range my entire house, garage, porch etc. have a strong Wifi signal!

Routers do not like steel and concrete, well at least to send a signal through such. Our building is all concrete and steel. We wanted to send a WiFi signal through such to an our lying building. The Nighthawk DST AC 1900 did the job where others we had tired did not. The only challenge remaining was that we could not get the included DST Adapter to work. Weird.

I live on 3rd floor in an apartment and wanted a router with a range on the ground floor. I bought this after reading the reviews and was skeptical. However, it turned out to be a best decision ever. The router works great and connection reaches the my car as well in the parking. I believe it can be reached up to 100 feet.

I am glad I have it. Only one complaint. I wished it would find the strongest signal automatically, when I go to different parts of the house.

This is a very powerful router and has lots of nice features. I like the netgear genie feature. It make it very simple to see what devices I have connected and to manage all setting. I've been using it for a while now and have not had any issues. With my old one I would have to unplug to reset now and again. Not with this one.
