The great thing about this router is the bonus range extender that comes with it. I do get a solid signal all over my two story house amd even the basement, too. It's a bit pricey, which is why I give it 4 stars. It's a great router if you have several devices connected (5-10 or more).

Replaced a 10+ year old netgear router. Greatly improved the weak/dead spots in the house.

I didn't realize our previous router was going bad and thought it was poor service from our ISP. Does a great job handling our needs which can at times have all the following: 2 smart tv, 2 iPads, 4 phones, VOIP office phone, and printer. Netgear refers all tech questions to Geek a Squad.

We had trouble getting WiFi to the far end of our house and this has solved our problem!

Replaced my orbi's with this router and it covers most of my house. The room it did not cover, I use the included DST. However do not plan on relying on the DST as it has to be on the same electrical circuit as the router to work. Working great.

This is the first time I bought a router but I really am glad that I did. It is very reliable awesome.

We live in a home with concrete walls reinforced with steel re-bar. The modem is at one side of the home and my desk is at the other. Signal strength was terrible. The new router and an extender module fixed the problem. It came with Geek Squad installation which was very good.

This router is great for my home my garage is a dead spot for WiFi but with the deadspot eliminator

I bought this to improve my WiFi coverage and speed in my house. I had an older "N" router with far less speed. I also had a significant dead spot on one end of my house. I can without hesitation say that this router and extender node has solved that problem. No more complaints from the teenagers about slow connection speeds and I now have great coverage in my dead spot. Installation and set up were a snap. The extender node connected automatically when I powered it up. It should be noted that this is a "whole house" WiFi system which uses your house wiring to connect the main router to the extender. If you have more dead spots simply add more extenders. The extender is a separate WiFi point with its own ID so you log onto each with your device, and as you move around your house your device connects to the strongest signal. I can say that it works great!

Great product not as easy to set up as you would like or think

First I purchased the AC1900 router/modem combination, but decided a week later to purchase the router and modem separately so I could have the DST device to have increased signal in a basement room. This totally solved my problem of intermittent signal loss.

Before we had the little netgear device and we had slow connections when connecting 7 devices. With this nighthawk we have no problem all being connected at the same time and speed is pretty fast, even when we are outside or in the basement. I love it

With 2 adults and 3 kids, we needed a router with the capacity to handle all our devices. We rarely have complaints about speed and my daughter can obtain access all the way in her room. Something that she could never do with our old router.

I bought this to replace my Belkin. 10 times better. Speeds are good.

Bought this because I was having trouble with wifi in back room of a 3 bedroom apartment. It works most of the time...and when not I am picking up optimum wifi, which surprised me. I am not using the extender as yet; I imagine that would help but hoped it wouldn't need it.

This worked fine and set up was easy. However, my cable provider told me that i needed a new modem, so i returned this for a modem router combo with the sam power for the same price if you already have a great modem this router is def powerful. But i prefer to have the combo.
