I have a 3 story townhome. Getting the signals to the third floor from the basement wasn't happening with just a modem/router itself. Bought a modem and this router. Signal has been continual since installation. very pleased with this product.

With my router set-up in my basement and my office on the second floor of my house reliable connectivity was really becoming a challenge.with my old wireless router. So, I tried the Netgear Nighthawk and my connectivity issue is history.. Great product!

I purchased this router and repeater based on reviews and the store manager at my local Best Buy. I have an old 2 story home and needed a new router with enough strength for a smart tv, 3 smart phones and 2 laptop computers. This seemed to fit the bill and it has so far.

Great product would recommend it to anyone whose getting ready to upgrade their WiFi system.

Super easy to set up. Great if you need stronger signal

We have an older house and no Cat5/6 troughout the house. This system works great with the extenders. However, they are not the same SSID as the base router. I see other systems that offer this. disappointed in Geek Squad's ability to remote-assist with install.

Have always had linksys before this system, I read about the Netgear now we have entire Wi-Fi for the whole house the set up in the support is awesome I love love love this product makes Wi-Fi at your house easy to set and now we have no dead zones.

I wanted a router to reach anywhere in my home. Kit does not only come as router but also with the extension point connected through a regular power outlet. Very easy to install, it automatically detects the extension and properly configures it.

The router isn't bad, good wireless speeds and decent coverage. The interface is a little sloppy, could have a better UX. The custom best buy firmware I think takes a backseat to the native NETGEAR firmware, releasing updates and fixes slower. Support has to go through best buy and that is useless. The really disappointing component to this product is the included extender. The range you can put the extender is limited and doesn't come close to other products in the market. I couldn't get the extender to connect to the router farther than 40ft with limited line of site and 25ft through a wall. I have other extender products, even from NETGEAR, that work way better than the one included. Not worth the extra price of the bundle.

We have a home office and have a split level home. The Nighthawk has helped us to not have deadzones anywhere in our home and outside around the house. We didn't need the extender it came with but, it doesn't hurt to have it around just in case.

Router works really well. Very pleased. The DST adapter is a great addition.

I bought this as a backup because it was a special with 2 Dead Spot Terminators. It works well for me. I have a small storage shed about 75 foot behind the house that is wired for electricity and the DST works out there. No problems.

Netgear does what its suppose to do. Downloads happen faster and streaming is very good.

I am getting much better signals especially in barn for security camera and in the basement. Four stars instead of five because I can't get enough speed going to stream off my television. I think it may be a settings issue. Going to address with Geek Squad.

The AC1900 router came highly recommend by the BB employee. She said, it's the one she purchased and NO problems what-so-ever. I purchased a Sony 4K Smart TV so my budget would'allow for the router at that time; figuring my old router would work. It did for a while but was just to small to handle a multitude of devices. The problem with the DST...for me, is it has to use HOUSE WIRING in order to do what it's supposed to. I Installed a TV in my workshop without running cable to it Because I figured the the DST would handle any dead spot. But, I couldn't get a signal to the TV using the DST. So I disconnected the DST and went back to square one. With the new router reconfigured properly...BINGO the router is strong enough to reach the workshop WITHOUT the DST. Definitely a KICK A** ROUTER

No dead spots in my 4600 square foot house. Good Wi-Fi speed in all corners.

Needed to replace 10 year old home network router. Netgear Nighthawk easy to install. Its signal reaches all areas of our two story home. Cable provider telephone support helped with connection to new smart TV. Very satisfied with product.

Have been using for approx 2 months. Have had to reset twice in order to pick up a signal. Better than our last one we had to reset weekly. Otherwise the signal is strong enough for us to get it in basement.

Grear upgrade to my time warner setup. I would recommend this to a friend.
