Multiple story house; enjoy never losing signal. Dual band WiFi is nice for guest usage

This router is very easy from set-up to operation. The extender is also a great addition.

Easy to set up. Works well. Waited along time for free geek squad optimization but it turns out I didn't need to.

This is unreal, wifi speeds are very good with this router for all of our streaming needs.

I really couldn’t tell any difference in this router. Only used it for about 2 weeks and then suddenlink had to put it different router.

I bought a new laptop and inquired about "wi-fi extenders" for my home network. The salesman asked how old my current router was, and I replied 3 or 4 years. He advised that I should invest in a new router that uses the latest "AC" technology. He showed me this model and explained that it had the DST adapter and Geek Squad support. I bought it. Installation was simple and uneventful. I placed the "DST adapter" in an overhead outlet in my attached garage roughly 100' from the router (The other end of the house ) It would not connect from there. I ultimately had to move it back inside the house, ( 1 wall/barrier difference) to get a signal. Now, tthe signal strength varies as to which is stronger, the router itself or the DST from various locations. My hope was to receive a reliable wi-fi signal on my outside deck, beyond the garage. That's not happening .My signal was stronger with the old router. In all fairness I have not contacted the Geek Squad to address these shortcomings, but doubt it would make a difference.

Works great for a 2000 square feet house. Must use the extender though to get it to work.

Sometimes, it's much better to visit the store than to read reviews online - this was one of those occasions -- the associate in-store knew all of the products through and through and had recommended that we look at two routers. Each question he asked me about the possible usage in the house, helped narrow down which of the routers would be better for our situation --- and it's doing the job

This works really. I have a 2 story and the dst really boost the upstairs of the house.

i don't really notice a speed or latency difference but it feels like a reliable product.

This device is exactly what I was looking for to deal with bad connectivities in my home.

The Geeks installed it for me and it is working perfectly. Great distance advantage also.
