Well, my honest review, so far my experience has been great. However, I cannot print wirelessly from my printer like I used to with my old router no matter how many times I put my printer on the network. Very frustrating. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

After experiencing issues with getting complete wifi coverage throughout the 2 story apartment, I invested in this wonderful router. It uses the most up to date technology to provide coverage everywhere. And the small adapter/repeater helps even more because you can have extended coverage even in those hard to reach areas of the house/apartment.

This is a waste! I used to have a Apple Airport running my house but read how this unit(s) was going to make things even better. Well, unless the DST is 10ft or less from the base station it does not get any connection. I went and bought another DST assuming that the one in the kit was bad - no luck - neither can extend any WiFi. Now I have to return both DST's and the router and GO THRU THE HASSLE OF CHANGING THE NAMES ON ALL MY WIFI UNITS AGAIN. Irritating hassle and waste of time! Unless your walls are made of wax paper you might want to look elsewhere.

Moved up from a failing router to this one. Patch it with new security updates and so far does really well with my MetroNet GIG ethernet. With their router i get about 900 meg with this router i get 990meg. So a little better through put over all and seems to be much more stable as well.

I like the router and its many setup features. The range extender is useless since it requires you to plug the router directly into the wall power instead of a surge protector. It uses the home's electrical wiring to connect the 2 devices. Great parental control options.

Easy to set up and fairly fast but .... DST extender would only connect to outlets in the same room with router. I returned it in exchange for NetGear R7800 MU-MIMO and wow what an improvement in range and speed.

I have received this product from Netgear for free with the Friends & Family program to provide an unbiased honest opinion and review. Setup - I already had the AC1750 so the set up was very easy. I just unplugged the 1750 and plugged in the 1900. I put the DST Adapter in the room where I have a dead spot and it booted up very easy. The only issue I had was when I went to change the password it seemed like everything took but I had to use the old password again before the new one would work. Features - I love that this router works in a large house and reached almost all parts. It has a strong Wi-Fi signal and speeds in all the rooms especially with the DST extender. Performance - This is where this router and DST adaptor shine. I have this router in my spare bedroom in the closet. Even with the router in the closet the signal still gets out and covers the whole house. The DST adaptor helps with the signal where the router is weak. Price-value - For what this router and DST can do it's defiantly worth the price. I paid more for my AC1750 which is a little slower and didn't come with the DST extender. Well worth the money for what this router will do. Expectations - I was a little concerned since I already had the AC1750 on the difference in performance between the two routers. The AC1900 met and exceeded my expectations. The DST extender was just an additional bonus. I wanted a router that would work from my closet and reach the whole house and this one did the job. Recommend - I would recommend this router and DST extender to anyone looking for a performance router to cover their whole house. With the benefit of the DST extender for areas where coverage is limited.
