The router was easy to set up and performed perfectly. I set up the new NETGEAR router to provide all routing and WiFi functiontionality, and used the existing Century Link DSL modem (Actiontec C1000A) to provide internet connectivity only. This configuration has greatly improved my home network performance and stability.

Easy set up and use. Follow the quick set up guide and you are rolling. There should more detail on how to change the admin password in the quick guide; just search for it and the directions are simple. MAKE SURE one the first things you do is change the default password.

Very simple to install. Has worked perfectly since installed. No problems anywhere in house - functions on all floors and at both extremities including screened in porch. I am very satisfied.

Was having drop out problems, no not school, but signal from router to computers. So we upgraded our internet speed, but old router then was unable to handle the flow or speed coming into house. This was recommended by tech of supplier of internet services and though it was a tad costly (or so it seemed) it performs most admirably. 2,900 sq. foot house - two levels and yes we have walls inside the house too! This router with it range extender plug in provides us with all the speed and steady flow that we need now and well into the future.

I was surprised at how easy this router was to set up. Plus it comes with geek squad support. We have multiple devices in many rooms and we have not found a dead spot yet in the house or the yard.

We were having issues with wifi connectivity in our house. I saw this online, decided to give it a shot. Works like charm!! Easy setup. Just had to reset all of our wifi devices. Simple as that.

This wireless router works great and improved performance throughout my home including upstairs and in the basement.

Great wifi all over the house, before I purchased this product I had lots of problems with my wifi, it was really slow and kept kicking me off my network, with this set up it fixed all my problems everything is super fast and its been over a month had no issues, I'm a gamer and this has no lag at all...

I've had the Nighthawk DST AC1900 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router with DST Adapter install for a couple months now and the family has been happy with the performance. We are a household of four with two teenage boys that use the internet for school, gaming, social media and watching videos. We are using TWC as a internet provider and have noticed a significant improvement since replacing their modem/Wi-Fi router with the Nighthawk. Although I haven't setup the DST Adapter, we haven't had any issues with connectivity in our 2800 SQ FT home. We haven't completely separated from cable TV, but have been using the new router with Amazon prime, YouTube and other video streaming sites without issue.

I upgraded to this router about a month ago. It has solved all of our LAG problems on our Apple TV, my sons Gaming computer in the basement runs with upstairs speed with the DST installed in the basement! Needless to say we are all happy! Nobody had faster NIC Adapters, so no reason to spend the money on the faster routers. Also the parental controls are great! Now I can limit access to bad content no matter what friends are over without having to change their device settings on their iPads/Tablets! Parenting WIN!

I had issues within my home to have standard routers reach upstairs. With the DST adapter, it made that issue go away. Strong signal and quick web browsing. I stream music, movies, tv, play games online and surf with computers and phone and no issues with buffering. Would highly recommend.

After 15 years of upgrading wireless access points and investigating different vendors, Netgear has created the perfect solution for our whole home. No one complains ever since we introduced the Netgear AC1900 with its remote DST adapters that extend coverage where other solutions fail. Setup is easy and you simply plug a DST adapter into the wall socket where coverage is weak or non-existent. You can buy additional DSTs to cover your entire home? No matter how big it is. No disappointments....guaranteed!

Had to replace my Apple Airport Extreme and Express because of numerous drops and failures. My home is concrete and radio/wifi/cell signals do not travel well so a basic router was out of the question. This Netgear/BestBuy bundle solved my problem by providing a solid, easy to set up router with a repeater that extends the range considerably in my home. It now provides coverage for two computers on the 5ghz band, two Roku TVs on the 2.4 ghz band, two iPads, and 2 iPhones (variable bands) with a strong signal, no drops, no fuss, no mess - even after the many power blackouts and brownouts that we are subjected to in Puerto Rico!

This router is fast and with the DST adapter covers my whole house with fast internet. I have full power when using the internet through the entire house and in most of my yard.

This unit sets up pretty easily and works well once it is configured. I have only had it a short while and am looking forward to seeing how much help the range extender is to our upstairs area. We have a a game room and smart TV upstairs and are looking for better connections for our devices and faster speed.

This router system is great for a larger home! The DST Adapter(s) utilize the electrical wiring system in the home to eliminate dead spots in your internet/wifi system. My internet speeds increased dramatically in the lower level of my house using this system. You can increase your internet speed anywhere in the house where there is an electrical outlet by adding adapters. The Geek Squad support that is included with the Nighthawk DST is fantastic! They were excellent in helping me set my system up!

I had an older netgear and when we moved to this house the signal would not reach out onto my deck. I needed a signal there because of music and tv so I purchased this router that comes with the adapter and my signal is great. It reaches even beyond the deck into a guest house.

Cable installer recommended a certain Netgear router model for our residence, but signal was weak in remote parts of our home and a signal booster didn't help. Geek Squad suggested we upgrade to Netgear Nighthawk which gave a very strong WiFi signal throughout our entire house.

I heard about this unit from a Geek Squad team member then from a customer in the store who had previously purchased one. This is great for multiple devices, we have 10, and the signal strength drastically improved. No more delayed downloads or lost signals on Netflix.

The add on that came with the router adds extra coverage. The size of the router itself is a little on the big side but the signal strength it puts out is very good.
