Easy set up to replace my old Belkin router which cost a fraction of this behemoth. The router works well and replaces my old Belkin and Diamond Extender (not really old though). Easy set up, no need for Geek Squad. But the price was outrageous for the devices it replaced the size and price of this router is huge, why? Routers used to be cheap, the industry has found a new way to milk the consumer.

This is a router for the home filled with gadgets that demand high speed data transfers. Works great with my garage, appliances, cellular devices, iPads, televisions, etc.

Simply put....I came from a total P.O.S. router and it is safe to say that this Router is a serious cannon for what it is...Handles everything in my house and provides plenty of bandwith in all parts of the house thanks to the extender...super fast!!!!

The router works great. Easy to set up, good range for my house (about 3k sq ft). I got this thinking I needed a range extender for the size of my house, but that isn't the case. Setting up the DST range extender is easy, but I could only get it to work in my house in the same room as the router, which doesn't really give me any benefit so I'm not currently using the extender. When I realized this I considered returning the set to get just the router, but the set was on sale for the same price so I didn't bother. Good stuff, it just may not work in your house if your wiring isn't right.

Setup was easy. However green led on DST adapter didn't,t light. Geek squad Got on my system and assured me it was working and if I wanted I could return it. Since it is working good I can live without that light.

This thing is absolutely awesome. Rock solid performance, excellent range and 4x the speed at its limits then my old router. Highly recommended.

Needed a replacement router for my outdated Linksys. This router is very fast and has very good range. Bery easy to setup took 5 minutes.

It has good distance and fast connections. It was quick and easy to set up.

This router has excellent range and performs amazingly. I bought the DST (Dead Spot Terminator) model because I had a $50 coupon for the combo which made it the same price as the router itself, so I basically got the DST for free. However, I do not recommend it unless you absolutely need it. It may have just been the wiring in my house (even though it is a new house built in 2012) but I couldn't get the DST to work unless it was plugged into the outlet right outside the room where the router was. This made it pointless for extending the signal in my application. I've read other reviews where it worked flawlessly. Keep in mind this router has amazing range, so unless you really know you need the extra coverage, this router will probably have you covered all by itself, so don't spend the extra money if you don't have to.

Needed a router that would handle online video streaming for TV and other devices. Had Netgear before and had good results. This router was pricey, but I wanted something that would be able to keep up. Also, it is powerful enough that I won't need to upgrade for sometime if internet provider (Charter), up's it's power. Have full signal throughout my house and outside and I didn't even have to use the signal extender.

My previous router did not have good wifi coverage in parts of the house. With this router I have great coverage all over the house. I also use the ethernet port on the wifi extender for an older desktop that dose not support wifi

The NightHawk is performing greatly. It is giving me at least 3 times the range and much greater power. Originally I was going to purchase a range extender and the sales techie said the NightHawk would eliminate the need of a range extender. Not only do I have dual frequency, there is built in guest connection. I had a cable company wireless router for my 100 MB connection and would drop down to 33 MB with 3 connections. Now all devices is getting near 100 mb Wish I would have found this a year ago.

We were having a few "dead spots" with our internet. Was told about this product so I decided to try. No more dead spots! I am not a "tech" type person so if I could hook this up and get it going anybody could.

I have had numerous routers over the years, including Apple and Linksys. I have always been frustrated that one small area in my home could not be covered. I would have to resort to extenders etc. This router just about does it. The signal reaches the room, just isn't crazy fast (i have 100gb a second.) But that's good enough for me until they release the next best thing. The geek squad service needs to be improved. I tried to connect the adapter/extender on my own to no avail, and called them for the "free" support. Maybe I got them on a bad day, but the representative that passed me over to the "hold line" said it would be a 4 hour wait. WHAT?!! I went to a movie and came back (literally) and it was still in the que on my computer. Once the guy got on the phone (3 hours, 30 mins) he was nice and helpful. He got the adapter on the network and then within an hour it was off again. Oh well, the router by itself is such a good deal I would still buy it anyway. 4 stars is the for the crazy wait. Don't advertise "amazing service" that's a 100.00 value and then make your customers wait in a que for 4 hours :P

Bought this one to replace an old one. It was very easy to setup. I used to get dropped signal all of the time, now it has not happened at all. I set it up in the same spot as old one. Wish I would have done this a long time.

I thought the router was pricey at first. But, if I'm saving almost $120 a month on cable, it's paid for itself in the first month!!

This router has been well worth the money. It is being used in a small office, and we were having connection issues when too many people were on the wifi. No longer, and the internal speeds jumped dramatically. Very happy

Super fast router. Easy setup and DST connected with no problems. Great coverage too.

I bought this router to replace one that didn't survive a lightning storm. it took a while to get through the setup but once that was complete, it worked great. I had much stronger coverage than before. The DSE was easy to setup but you MUST be on the same electrical circuit and not be plugged into a UPS or surge protector. That is a problem if you are prone to power outages or lightning.
