We bought this modem to replace Xfinity's, should have done it a long time ago but was hesitant as to whether it would actually work. The sales lady at our Best Buy was very helpful. Hubby set it all up, of course I still had to call Xfinity. I'm tired of these companies having a monopoly over everything. This is a really great modem, so glad to have finally gotten one.

This was easy to set up (it took less than ten minutes). It's working well and I'm very pleased with it so far. For what it's worth, I'm an Xfinity customer. I bought this because they recommended it as a replacement for a router/modem that I had been renting from them for $14/month. This will pay for itself in about two years.

Spend the Extra this Router works EXCELLENT! If it weren't for Spectrum taking so long to activate my router it would have been up and running within minutes. Works so good!

Extremely happy we decided to purchase our own Xfinity approved voice gateway. It was straightforward to install per the instructions. Everything worked perfectly immediately. It was expensive but it appears to have capacity for future upgrades of Xfinity. Glad to stop renting at $13 plus tax per month. Highly recommend this Netgear voice gateway.

This is an awesome modem, the speed is terrific and it works for large homes

I bought this product because i was tired of paying Comcast $14 a month to rent a modem And this product so far is worth every dime that I spent on it .And the set up wise was pretty easy except when I was logging on to the nighthawk website but I do recommend this product

I originally had an Xfinity box which was intermittent with the connection and lacked signal strength throughout the house. While this unit may seem expensive on the surface it pays for itself in over 18 months. Well worth the investment especially in homes with heavy internet usage as this unit increases reliability.

Works fantastic. We had an old one that was slow and had limited ports. We wanted a land line and better wifi. We got it with this. We all have cellphones, gaming console, and smart tvs in a home about 2300' square feet. Everything works as it should. Land lines work fine as well.

Great to kit have to pay the monthly fee that the cable company charge if you look at total price and figure out how many months to start savings Mine is rated higher then the cable company offer so I good for upgrades speeds when that offer them 4 stars as I have had to reboot it a few times a year

This is the same Comcast Router we had with XFinity made by (Netgear) and was easily installed with the same connections. The router has excellent coverage from back yard to front porch and 1st floor to 3rd floor. I have 3-Smart tv's, 2-laptop computers, 4-Cell Phones, 1-iPad and 1-Kindle (Plus the neighbors phone) attached to my network and all work fine.

I purchased this because I was tired of renting a cable box from Comcast. It was relatively easy to set up and quickly paired with the Netgear wifi extender. It has worked flawlessly in the month that we've had it. I would highly recommend it for sometime looking for a modem/ router combo.

Expensive but good internet speed have two story and about 20 plus connections. No buffering watching three streams at the same time. No more $14 month fees. Has to be rebooted maybe ounce a month for dropped connections. This may be Xfinity problem,

I was having connection issues with my Arris brand voice WiFi router and decided to replace it with the Netgear modem and glad I did, it is much better than the Arris. Very simple and easy to setup and best of all no connection issues no drops or random reboots like I had with the Arris.

The modem works great. I had some difficulty setting it up. I followed the instructions, but could not connect to the internet. I saw the modem in my network but could not get connectivity. I worked with Xfinity for almost an hour and could not solve the connectivity issue. Finally they suggested i call Netgear, which I did. I got through to a Technician within 5 minutes and he seemed knowledgeable and friendly. The rep was very helpful but as soon as i started talking to him, internet connectivity suddenly appeared and my problem was solved! Don't know why, but it works great now.

switched to comcast bundle phone internet and TV . need new router plus voice. had small problem at first. but corrected. do not have battery back up. when lost power for 2 hours no phone. but have cell. only had for 2 months but every thing works ok. power bumps some times require double reset. would recommend battery back up .

Awesome service at Best Buy and great product. I would recommend this modem and also Best Buy for purchase.
