I got this router with the purpose of having 2 telephone ports and stronger wifi signal. I'm trying to cover about 2500 sqft and this works great with dual band 2.4 and 5Ghz. The setup is easy and the interface is great, very responsive as well. Quality product from NetGear, it's pricey but worth your dollar$

Worked well for about 2 years then just randomly stops working. This is my third nighthawk and have had the same issue with every one of them. Netgear support is a money scheme for little to no help.

Good router and modem combo. Easy set up and I am consistently satisfied with Netgear products. Not noticing any blazing improvements in speed, but could be provider or other issues. Upon testing though, I should be getting faster performance. Good product though.

My kids had problems with internet in their bedrooms. So this makes internet faster in their room. Also I rent box from xfinity and now I don’t have too. It replaces my box. I also don’t pay monthly fee for that box to xfinity so I save money that way. Good product to invest my money in . And I own it.

We were tired of renting from the cable company and decide to buy our own equipment. Looked at a few different types and decided on this one. Great decision for us. It will pay for itself within the year with the money we are saving from the cable company. It was easy to set up.

I purchased this router/modem because I was astounded at how much money I’ve spent over the years leasing from Comcast. ARGH! Now it belongs to me and will cost less in the long run. I should have done this years ago. It is the exact same model Comcast leases to you and works just as well.

I have the Xfinity Triple play with Extreme Pro Internet at 600 mbs. Yes I get the 600 mbs download speed when hardwired with an ethernet cable, but when I am on wireless (5GHz) I get a max of only 280 mbs download speed in the same room as the Nighthawk. No one is sharing the channel and there is no device interference. It's not my wireless adapter either as I have seen it get faster download at friend's homes. Fairly satisfied but I wish I could get closer to the 600 mbs on wifi. Otherwise it is stable and the wireless covers my entire home.

Waaay better than the modem any cable provider would give u this modem was well worth the money for lag free gaming

i get very high internet speed with this high-speed cable modem even hooked up a telephone for my dad to use on it and still slams all my games at high speeds :D i am very very happy with this and i have told all my friends to get one some of them found out just how good this is thx best buy .

This router modem combo is a great thing to have. It is much faster than any equipment your ISP will give you and obviously its great to save the rental fee every month. Netgear software is easy to use to customize your network. This router will definitely be one to last for quite sometime since it supports GB data.

Had to get one in a pinch due to a phone line needed. Great speed

This router works with Comcast. I have Internet, phone and voice. This worked with my service.

I stopped paying the rental fees to the cable company and purchase the same equipment at Best Buy! Works great!

This thing is awesome. I haven't had a real issue with it since I've had it. I have had to hit the reset button/unplug it and plug it back in a few times but not because of the device (it has always been an XFinity issue). Great device.

I'm a power user on the internet. It is a well-made device this baby Nighthawk Dual-Band AC1900 Router with 24 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem is awesomely ready to say yes to your needs. Full Wifi signal strength don't worry just don't do it yourself call your cable company and they will connect you with the NETGEAR n they will be helping you with the setup.

This combination router and Wi-Fi is blazing fast and easy to set up. I did have a problem with the two frequencies. The passwords weren't the same so that caused some problems. Once I figured out my mistake, everything was fine. I sent the phone/gateway/router I had been renting back to Comcast.

This product was on a list provided by Xfinity of modems that would work with my internet speed. It was very easy to install and I've been pleased with the performance.

Thank goodness the salesman knew what I needed and steered me in the right direction when I bought this.
