I was skeptical about the price of the modem in the beginning, but after a little research I found the speed, etc is way better than the modem I would rent from the cable provider. Plus, the monthly fees for renting the modem from the cable provider would be more than me actually buying it myself

The team is excellent. I have no problems with its performance. There was only a slight inconvenience to activating it in its initial configuration. It was necessary to call Netgear customer service.

So far so good. No issues with internet coverage. Seems to extend farther than Comcast model. Enough Ethernet ports to plug in my devices. Simple to set up. Just make sure you contact Comcast to give router/modem info so you can receive service. That didn't take long.

I have a 600mb internet plan and this is the perfect router/modem for my small apartment. It’s strong enough to power everything, but not too much of an overkill. I really get a bang for my buck & get to use it to its full potential.

I’ll make this short and to the point: if you have Comcast as your provider, and you have their Triple Play plan (TV, data and voice), this is hands down the BEST solution available. Netgear is the king. Highly efficient, great GUI, incredibly secure and dependable. The other options are Arris and Motorola. Neither of them are half as good as Netgear!

No longer have to use boosters to get internet all over the house. Great coverage for wireless.

Salesman was courteous and knowledgable. He knew exactly what I needed based on what I wanted to accomplish. Took me directly to the right aisle and was quick to point out the exact need. The Router was super easy to install. Price was okay.

Seems to be a very good modem. So much better than the one provided by Xfinity.

Purchased the Netgear router to avoid the price increase from Comcast. It was a little pricey but in the long run I will save money!

Nice modem, fast and easy to set up, like the act now I can change the WiFi channels , so I’m not sharing bandwidth with neighbors. No longer paying $14 a month for xfinity. I more than doubled my WiFi and Ethernet speed.

This router is specifically made as a plug and play for Xfinity Took me about 10 minutes to setup Haven’t thought about it since Simply works

Great product. Performs well and exactly as promised. Used to replace router from cable company which did not do what we needed.

Wanted to save the rental fees from Xfinity! Wireless has good range, has most features of the NetGear router family. Wish it had the VPN built in like some others, but does the job and I have fast speeds!

Needed a cable modem when we switched providers. Already had the Nighthawk for DSL so added the cable version to our shelf. And yes, it works with Xfinity (just as it says ON THE BOX) despite them telling you you HAVE to use their equipment...

I bought this instead of renting a modem from Comcast. It works well for both internet and voice connections. The wifi is great and reaches the areas of the house were it is needed. It is also easy to setup and configure.

I had this router for a year now and I love it! It has gone through Power Outages and it keeps on kicking! I saved a lot of money by purchasing this Router because, I didn't have to pay COMCAST to rent theirs!

Router was fairly easy to set up and activate with Comcast. The only problem I had was with the USB ports recognizing my printer and external drive. For a while there I thought I had a faulty device. Luckily through research I found that all I needed to do was reboot it. It's been running well with no issues ever since. I have a 600 mbps plan. I don't get anywhere near that speed. Not sure, but I suspect that's Comcast not the device. I average 150 - 200 mbps which is fine for what I need. Phone works well too. Beware of Windows 10 updates. After an update, my speed ground to a near halt. More research led me to changing the bandwidth using gpedit.msc. Windows 10 was hogging 80% of it!

Very good product and easy to hook up I didn’t have many options to choose from due to the pandemic but this does the job.

Purchased this from Best Buy when I signed up for Comcast services. I did not want to rent a unit from them so I bought it. I have no complaints! It has held up great and seems to work as it was designed!
