Overall good product. Phone, modem, and router in one. Issues with gaming. NAT 3 on PS4 constantly. Signal is strong but doesn't reach the 300mbps

We have had the modem for less than 1 year. It is working as expected. One star off because we have to restart it occasionally. It gets disconnected from time to time.

This combined router and modem in one device, plus standing vertically, saves space. The respected brand and dual band provides continual great connectivity speed.

Cut the cord from Comcast cable and bought my own router for internet and phone. Simple hookup (with assist from Comcast) and so far works well.

Good product, annoyed about in store pricing - finding the pice on the shelf was very difficult as they weren't placed near their tags and the description on the tag was not helpful or easy to read. Overall great product just wish the store was better organized, or that it had the cheaper options in stock.

I prefer shopping at Best Buy rather than Amazon, and Best Buy was kind to match Amazon's slightly lower price on this Netgear gateway. Good news: it was easy to install. Better news: its wireless signal strength is a huge improvement over the Arris gateway I was renting from xfinity. Best news: if this Netgear unit holds up, it will pay for itself in about 1.5 years, based on what I was paying to rent the inferior Arris. My sole criticism of Netgear is its web interface, which isn't exactly user friendly. That stated, it's at least a little better than the Arris's was.

purchased it to replace one identical that I was paying monthly rental fee to cable company. it works , and it does the same thing as the other.

I have had this router/modem combo by Netgear now for over a month and I love the speeds this is putting out. Much better than my last modem hands down.

We needed a new dual band router. This one was easy to set up. It's working great and we were pleased to find it on sale. We like the fact that there are 2 ports to plug a land line phone into.

Essentially the same modem/router that Xfinity charges $13 plus tax per month. It will take a call to Xfinity to get it running. Performance has been solid.

Requires online netgear preregistration prior to activation. Fairly easy setup with technician assistance. Excellent speed for multiple devices.

Replaced an aging surfboard modem with this. Install is easy, the web panel is simple to use and easy to set up. The extra channels are helpful for all the devices running in the house.

We purchased an Arris Surfboard which turned out to be faulty so returned and purchased this on the advice of our Xfinity installer, so far this is working flawlessly, so happy!

Routers suggested by Comcast did not include this one. I didn't have a clue as to what to purchase. The Best Buy staff informed me of all the pros and cons of a Router purchase. Excellent information. I was offered by Comcast to rent a Router at about $132 for the year. In two years time I would own it, instead of renting one. I went for this option in the event I cancel my two year contract. Thanks Best Buy for helping me make another excellent informed purchase. Works great! No issues, experience an increase in speed in comparison to the Xfinity issues device/modem. Overall, great purchase that will enable me to save on my bill over time.

I'm not a techie. All I know is now I get all of my high speed internet now. My cameras aren't glitchy like it was when I used the cable company equipment.

It does everything you want it to and then some! It’s network settings are extremely user friendly and make it easy for people to setup and secure their network.

this saves so much money instead of renting a modem from xfinity. Works better than the modem they provide and with the geek squad coverage, this is a must buy item
